The darkness filled all my sight, the sound of waves, the feel of sand in my feet. I closed my eyes as I engulfed all these feelings. I never fail to feel alive when I am here, this, right here, it is my favorite place, where you barely can differentiate where the sea ends. People usually like the dawn or the sunset, they like watching the sun rising or sinking in the sea. It is amazing, I will not deny it, but there is nothing like the sea at night, the darkness that invades wherever you look at. I do not know if I am the weird one, but to me they are the weird ones.

I could see the sea for hours without getting tired, and that was my plan, like every other day that I wanted to escape from everything that happens in my life, until I heard noises in my back. I stretched as I raised up from my position and looked at the cause of the noise. They were pretty far, but I could see them, about three guys bothering a girl. It was obvious that the girl was drunk, but even as that she was resisting it, meaningless in this situation where it was three against one and to top it off she was drunk.

I approached them as they continued to bother the girl and as I was getting closer I got a better look at her, she was really beautiful, she was a brunette and had denim jeans with a white strapless shirt. The guys seemed to enjoy it as the girl tried to fight her way out of them, but she couldn't get away, she didn't have the force to, maybe because the intoxication of the alcohol, or maybe because they were stronger.

I finally was only a few steps from them when one of them noticed me. He said to his friends that someone was approaching them and they all turned to look at me, I could see it in their eyes, the lust. I got angry as I looked at their eyes, and I didn't even need to read their thoughts to know what they were thinking. One of them said something about my body to his friends and the others laughed.

I sighed and tried as much as I could to politely tell them to fuck off, but I think I wasn't too polite as their faces contorted in anger. Whatever, they did not deserve it anyway, one of them yelled at me something about to join them or to leave as I had my eyes locked on the sparkling brown eyes of the girl and I chuckled to what I heard as a small smile came to my face. I locked my eyes on the guy who talked and if glares could kill... He jumped a little when he saw my eyes, and he was smart enough to get scared of me, but not enough to know that he should have left with his friends.

I punched him in the face and he fell backwards to the ground, his friends were shocked and one of them reacted first trying to get me, but I moved sideways and moved my right leg to make him trip and finally kicked him in the face, the last one was paralyzed, I didn't know if it was from the shock or the fear. I approached him and told him to leave my property with his friends and his eyes bulged but did as I told him, smart guy.

The girl was really drunk, she could barely stand in place, I got close to her and asked her if she was okay, but she just stayed there looking at me, and without warning she blacked out. I got her before she could fall on the floor and carried her bridal style to the house. I was in one of my parent's property, a beach house. My father lived here until he was sixteen then everything changed when his biological father started to play his games and mess with his life.

I opened the door without difficulty as I carried the girl through the door and got upstairs to my father's room and I laid her on the bed. I watched her as she got comfortable on the bed and I got a blanket of the closet that was at my back and I covered her with it. I got downstairs and got a book to read for the rest of the night, I could not sleep. Even if I knew that if I laid in the bed, I could at least sleep a little, I knew that I would not really rest, so at least I could spend the rest of the night reading something interesting. I got comfortable on the couch, opened the book, and started reading.
