*Sam's POV*
It's been two weeks since I told Alice the truth, since I told her that I was a Goddess, it wasn't easy for any of us, she had a lot of questions, she still has, but at least she doesn't ask me at every second. I spent more time with her since then too, I spent pretty much every night with her, just sleeping. Things heated up a few times, but I stopped her, I told her that I wasn't ready, and thankfully she let it slide. However, I know, I know that I hurt her every time I stop her.
"Sam!" My mom yells at me as I'm immersed on my thoughts. I jump from my bed and I get to her side.
"What!?" I ask worried, my mom it's breathing heavily, she has her hand on her stomach and I know why she called me. "Already? Isn't there still two months left before you get into labor?" I ask surprised.
"Yes, but I think he doesn't want to wait." She says breathing heavily.
"I'll call dad." I say and I instantly start calling him, but of course, it doesn't connect. I groan as I see my mom, she's in pain. "Mom, let's start going to the clinic." I say as I pick her up in my arms, bridal style and teleports us there.
"He's not coming, is he?" My mom asks, worried.
"No." I say frowning. "I think he's busy, I cannot make a connection with him." I look at her sadly, as I put her on the stretcher. She's in pain I can see that, I try to remember what to do in this situation, I read, a lot, but once thing is reading it and comprehending and another applying it.
"I'm here" Pete says nothing more teleporting himself here, he's my eldest brother, he knows much more than me about this. "I already tried to contact dad, but it seems that grandpa has him busy, I already told auntie about it, so he should know about this soon." He says calming mom and me. I knew I did call the right one. "Now, I'm going to start checking the baby, okay mom?" He says putting a pair of gloves and mom nods her head.
"I'll leave..." I say trying to get away from whatever it's going to happen from here.
"Really, are you going to leave us here alone?" Pete says incredulous.
"I will be of no help, it's better if I'm out of the way." I say a little afraid that he'll make me stay, he sighs.
"Okay, whatever. I'll call Alexander he'll be more useful than you." As I hear that I sigh in relief and I teleport immediately out of there, I don't want to stay there not even for one more second.
"Gosh, you scared me." Alice says surprised, I just teleported to her house, it's not the first time that I do, but I normally warn her first. I sigh before throwing myself to the couch, resting my head in the back of the couch. "Everything okay?" Alice asks worried, I look at her smiling faintly.
"My mom is in labor." I say tired, and I see Alice's eyes widening.
"I didn't know your mother was pregnant." She says surprised.
"Yeah," I say chuckling. "another poor creature who'll go through hell." I say dryly.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, sorry, I'm worried for my mother, my father wasn't available so I had to call Pete to help my mom. Oh! He's my eldest brother." I say quickly seeing the confusion in her face. "He already helped his wife to give birth to his children, so he's better than me in this situation."
"Speaking of which, how many siblings do you have?" She asks curiously.
"Well... Seven older siblings, two of which are woman, and eight young ones, nine soon, and three of which are woman, at least for now." I say nonchalantly, but Alice it's shocked, but I believe that shocked it's an understatement in this case, I chuckle and I see Alice opening her mouth before closing it again.
