Avengers: Spiderman And The Wing-Girl

5. All over the news

Peter Parker's Pov

When we walked in the cameras started flashing. A lot of questions were said when Tony quiet everyone down.

"I'm here to welcome our newest member of the Avengers," Tony said. "Spiderman!"

A lot of pictures were taken while I just stood there. Then a question was asked.

"How did it felt to stop the wing-girl with the Avengers?"

"Actually the wing-girl was on our side," Spiderman said.

"Where is she then?" Another reporter asked.

"Unfortunately she didn't survive the attack" I answered.

"How did it feel when you saw her die. Could  you do anything about it?"

"Don't answer that one," Tony said.

We stood there for a while until the reporters got enough. Man, it's hard to be popular.
When we were done we went back in. I couldn't believe that I was officially an Avenger.

Later that day I was patrolling town when I swung past Melody's house. I landed there and went inside. It was untouched. It looked the same as when I left. I looked around the room and saw some papers.

It was drawings of beautiful dragons. I smiled at her masterpiece. She drew everything so beautiful and made it look real.

I continued searching around not sure what I was looking for when I found a box. I opened it and saw crystals in it. They were all glowing in different colours. I found a note where it stood their names and different chemicals. I took the box and decided to ask dr. Bruce for help to check it out.

When I reached the Avenger house I found Dr Banner in the lab.

"Dr Banner," I said. "Can you help me"

"With what?" Banner asked.

"I found these stones with some chemical numbers I was wondering if we could check it out?" I asked.

"Sure. We take one stone and put it in here in case it's a bomb" Banner said. "These stones are from outside space and can be very powerful"

He took some chemicals and tested the mix.

"One more drop" Banner said and dripped down the last ingredient.

Then the whole thing got invisible. Not only the stone but everything the stone touched.

"Strange" Banner said. "Not even our invisible locator can find it"

"So what are we doing here" A voice said.

"Peter here have found something incredible" Banner said to Stark. "Look"

"Glowing Stones?" Tony asked.

"With magical specialities," Banner said. "Feel this"

Tony did as Banner said and felt the box.

"Just another invisible toy," Stark said.

"No, not even our locator can find it," Banner said.

That made him interested.

"Peter. Where did you find them" Tony said.

"In Melody's house" I answered.

"Show me"

We flew into that house. It was still a little bit messy after when I left. Tony looked around.

"Is that blood?" He asked when he saw red on the bed.

"She took me here when I was hurt" I explained.

We searched around the whole building until we found a closet. Behind those clothes, it was hundreds of boxes with stones and crystals.
Without a word we took everything and flew back.

"Black widow and Captain America," Stark said. "Can you check this place out. He said and gave them the address on the building. See if you find anything suspicious. I got some searching to do"

Back there Dr Banner and Mr Stark had an argument about if they were going to test the stones or not.

"What if it's something that can destroy the whole Avengers" Dr Banner said. "You know what happened to the box. Everything the stone touches became invisible"

"That's why we need to test it," Stark said. "We need to know what the stones can do. And the thing appeared after 5 min right. It didn't do any harm. The stone just lost its power"

Meanwhile, they had this argument I looked in the different boxes and found a solution to this crazy talk.

"Hey" I shouted.

"What?!" They both said unison.

"I found a paper with all the stones specialities," I said and waved with the paper.

Tony took it from my hands.

"Super jump, invisible, going through the material, stop time, read minds, flying, copying looks. It all stands here" Tony said.

"One last problem" Banner said. "We don't know which stone is which."

"Look in the boxes. There have to be other notes" Tony said.

So that day I And some members of the Avengers searched for notes in stone boxes. And there were plenty of them. One in every box and they all showed different things.

But there was one note that was written in another language. But I could read the title.

How to re-glow the stones

"I can't identify the language," Tony said.

"I don't think it's a language," Banner said. "It's a code"

"Why would she code just this one?" I asked.

"We don't know," Tony said. "But we'll figure it out. Meanwhile, lock these stones in the safe room. If any villain find these it can be the end for earth"

Some people locked in the stones in the case. I knew that it was the right thing to do but deep inside I wanted to study them more. But we'll just have to wait and see.
