21. Pain and Rage

Now you probably want to know what happened. You might even have cursed for such a cliffhanger and said that I can't do that

At first I can and I did.

Second before we start I need to explain one thing. All you have read was just memories. Peter's memories, mostly. So when you thought that Peter was finally happy those memories was those who hurt most.

By knowing that he would never experience such a memory with that person again was the most painful thing. While these memories gave him power for revenge his mind was drowning in sorrow while the memories played up one after one and disappearing as fast as they came.

All this rage he took out on Zoe. With only one instinct. To kill. Our little sweet Peter Parker has lost his love and with that his mind.

Meanwhile Loki was taking out his rage on Noka. As Peter the rage took over and he did not hesitate to kill him when he got the chance, slowly and painfully.

Even if the villains died they both had a smirk on their face knowing that they've won. They had caused more pain than imagined. Even if they were going to die now, they knew that Avengers were getting through a worse fate.

Falling. Falling in all infinity without never reaching the bottom until it's time has come. They might be saved but they will trip for the rest of their life.

And what did the Avengers do?

They tried to stop them. Thor took Loki while Tony focused on Peter. The other Avengers tried to keep the villains away from them but they knew that the only way to stop this was for Loki and Peter to realise that it was wrong.

"Peter Stop This!" Tony said as he stopped Peter from trying to kill Zoe. "This is not you"

"Aw your little daddy have to stop you" Zoe teased causing Peter trying to hit her one more time.

"You should have heard her last word. You won't success she said. Avengers will stop you." Zoe said copying Melody's last word. "Well that wasn't the look on her eyes when she saw her death"

"That's enough!" Peter screamed and webbed her up. "One word and it will sting"

"I am so scared" Zoe said but got electrified by the webs.

"Peter stop it!" Tony said. "Friday. Deactivate Peter's instinct kill"

Suddenly Peter's suit went back to normal but he was prepared to punch her.

"Peter" Tony said. "Don't do something you regret"

Peter lowered his hand and walked away.

When they later returned into the Avenger house Peter and Loki disappeared as fast as dust. Both went into different rooms slamming the door behind them. Avengers lock up the villains in powersafe prisons.

"What are we gonna do now?" Nat asked.

"Give them time" T'challa said. "Healing takes time"

"But how much" Wanda said worried.

An hour later Tony ent to check up on Peter. But he wasn't in his room. Instead of panicking Tony looked around in Peter's room for clues. He didn't have to move to see how many pictures there was of Peter and Melody together.

Without any reaction he walked out and went into Melody's old rom where he found Peter sitting on the floor with his head between his knees crying, still with the suit on and holding Melody's necklace..

"You're ruining the suit with so much water" Tony said.

Peter looked up and wiped away the tears.

"I'm sorry" Peter said. "I'll get it off"

"It doesn't matter" Tony said and sat down beside him. "How are you kid?"

"This is all my fault" Peter said. "All this happened because of me"

"With great powers" Tony started.

"Comes great responsibilities, I know" Peter said."But I can't take it anymore. I've lost almost everyone I love. I'm causing them danger"

"None of this is your fault" Tony said.

"But Melody, she deserved better. I should never had let her go" Peter said. "If I only knew before"

"She would have gone anyway" Tony said.

"What?" Peter said confused.

"Kid she knew" Tony said. "She told me that she knew that she was going to die. I couldn't do anything to stop her but she told me to take care of you, and I will. It's might be hard but I will do my best to take care of you"

Peter had more tears running down his cheek as he thought about what Tony told him.

"Come here" Tony said and pulled Peter into a hug. "It's okay. You'll be fine"
