17. Anniversary

Start: 20/08/18

Peter Parker's PoV

We sat and talked while she ate just a little. I can't exactly blame her. Eating much after eating nothing is not good. But after an hour she got tired and I made sure that she went to sleep. When I walked out I met Banner.

"I looked at the papers you gave me" Banner said. "It's some pieces missing but give me some days and I might find out what"

"No need" I said. "I got my answers. But thanks anyway Dr. Banner. Can you keep the papers safe? I don't want anyone to find out about them. It can come in the wrong hands"

Dr. Banner nodded and walked away.

Some months later

Today was our anniversary day. I and Melody have been together for one year now. We were going to meet at our place on that building. And when I arrived she was already there.

She stood up and walked up to me.

"Hello Beautiful" I said.

"You're late" She joked.

"Not to late for this" I said and pulled her into a kiss.

When we broke the kiss she smiled at me.

"You can never be late for that" She said.

We sat and talked about a lot of things while the sun was on it's way down.

"It's beautiful" Melody suddenly said and looked at the sky.

"Just as you" I said and took out a box.

When she saw the box she gave me a confused look.

"Don't get to excited. I still think that we are a little bit to young for marriage" I said which made her laugh.

"It was to big for a ring anyway" She pointed out.

"Well. It doesn't stop me from giving you this" I said and opened the box.

She looked shocked when she saw what it was.

"Peter. It's beautiful" She said happy.

I took it out. It was a necklace with a dragon on it.

"I choose the dragon because I thought of your wings. They are still a part of you you know?" I explained.

"Peter you are so sweet" She said.

"May I?" I asked and nodded at the necklace.

She nodded and turned around. I took on the necklace for her. When I was done she turned around.

"Thank you" She said.

"Happy anniversary" I replied.

"Happy anniversary" She also said and then we kissed when suddenly a explosion was heard.

"Tony calls for backup" I heard Karen say.

It was supposed to be a free day today unless it was a really messy situation. And I guys right now was one of those situations.

"First to the place?" Melody asked.

"You bet" I said.

And then I started to swing. And I knew that she was behind me. And maybe soon ahead of me. When we arrived we saw the Avengers standing around Zoe.

"Finally. Everyone here" She said. "Happy anniversary Melody. Yes I know. I know almost everything. I've been watching you the whole time"

"It doesn't matter" Steve said. "We won't let you go this time"

"Yeah so give up nice and we might give you better lunch than usual" Tony said.

"I don't think so" Zoe said and took out two guns.

"Your choice" Tony said.

Then she started to shot. Thanks God Wanda was fast enough to protect everyone from the bullets.

"Now my turn" Tony said and started to shot towards Zoe but a power shield protected her.

I didn't know were it came from until a man or more alien appeared from below. He literally just came up from the ground.

"Who are you?" Steve asked.

"The Gods angel" He said. "You humans are destroying your world. It's time to make something about it"

"What exactly?" Nat asked.

"Death. It's time for the people to die" The Alien said. "But I'll be fair. Tomorrow we gonna start a battle. The last army standing will win. If you win. Earth will be safe. But if not. You will give us the code"

He didn't know that it was Melody. I suddenly got the overprotective feelings. I wouldn't let anything happen to her. I would protect her.

"Deal" Tony said.
