Reader's Pov:
Everyone except for Captain Levi was in the Mess Hall decorating for his surprise party for his birthday. Although it was Christmas, we planned to make it just about his birthday.
Eren and I were hanging the last strand of streamers with Petra's assistance of evening it out. Everyone was super excited to see Captain Levi's reaction to the party, merely because they have never thrown a surprise party for him.
"Right there!" Petra called. Eren and I stopped adjusting the streamer and stapled the streamer to our respective wooden pillars.
"I think that should do it!" Hanji cheered. Eren and I lowered ourselves with our maneuver gears before taking them off afterwards.
"Okay, the next step." Hanji continued. "Which is?" Gunther asked while raising his eyebrows raised. "We send Cadet (L/n) out to get Levi while we find our hiding places. It'll take us a while for each of us to find one, and Levi won't be all so convinced to follow her to the Mess Hall." Commander Erwin explained.
"All right, well, I'm on my way." I announced as I grabbed my squirt bottle. "Um...(Y/n)...why do you have a squirt bottle?" Armin asked. "No reason."
I walked out of the Mess Hall and began roaming around HQ. If I were Captain Levi, where would I be? Duh! In my office doing paperwork.
With that thought in mind, I began making my way towards his office. When I arrived, I knocked on his door. "Name and business?"
"It's Cadet (L/n), may I come in, sir?" I asked. I heard him sigh. "Fine, come in." With permission, went inside while hiding my spray bottle in my back pocket so he didn't question me.
"What is it, Cadet?" He asked without looking up from his paperwork. "Well, I know you're busy and all, but I was wondering if we could take a walk together?" I asked.
He looks up at me and furrowed his eyebrows. "Are you serious?" He asked. "Why wouldn't I be, Sir?" I asked in response.
"Tch, do you know how inappropriate that is? You're a cadet and I'm your captain." He said. "The question is, Captain, would you enjoy it?" I smirked.
He suddenly stood up, his ice cold glare never leaving my confident (e/c) gaze. "Shitty brat. I always knew you had balls to push me!" Holy shit! It's working!
He walked around his desk and began walking towards me. I slowly reached behind me and grabbed the spray bottle from my pocket.
Once he got close enough, I sprayed him before running out of the room. "You brat! Get back here!"
I run to the Mess Hall with Captain Levi hot on my trail. When I reached the closed doors, I looked back and saw him not too far behind me. Once he was close enough, I ran inside the Mess Hall with him. "SURPRISE!"
He totally forgot his goal to catch me as he looked around the Mess Hall. "What the..?" He asked.
Seeing how I was crouched down, trying to catch my breath, Hanji explained the occasion. "Well, (Y/n) gathered all of us to throw you a surprise party because she knows how you feel about spending Christmas and your birthday at the same time. We spent Christmas earlier this morning before we got ready for your party! See! Even Erwin and Mikasa are here!"
"Yeah, what kind of blackmail are you putting Mikasa through, anyway?" Jean asked me. I stood up straight and straightened out my scout regiment jacket as I responded. "I told her she wouldn't be able to see Eren again if she didn't come."
"Is that why she's not letting me go?! (Y/n)!" Eren whined as he tried prying Mikasa off of him. "Eren..." Mikasa mumbled while glaring at me.
"So, Cadet (L/n) was in charge of all this?" Captain Levi asked. "Yes, Sir." Eld responded. Captain Levi looked towards me and I slowly hide behind the Commander. "Uh...I don't know what talking about! Ha-ha.." I laughed nervously.
"Cadet (L/n).." Captain Levi's voice called from the other side of the Commander. "Levi, she wanted to help us surprise you in a good way. She didn't mean any harm." Commander Erwin defended.
"Cadet (L/n), come out and let me talk to you." Captain Levi ignored the Commander and called for me again.
I reluctantly step out from behind the Commander and averted my gaze from Captain Levi's. I suddenly felt one of my hands be taken in a big, warm one. "(Y/n).."
My eyes widened and felt myself began to fluster as I realized Captain Levi was the one who was holding my hand. I slowly look up at him, only to see that he took my hand up to his lips and placed a kiss on the back of it.
A lot of gasps and murmurs can be heard all around the room, and my face was probably growing even more red than it was before. "Thank you." "Oh...uh...you're welcome."
