Week 1: Psychic Attack, Energy Sensitivity & Attachments
Before diving into any kind of psychic or spiritual work, it's essential to stay grounded and protected. In this section, we'll explore different grounding and protection techniques, how to recognize signs of psychic attack or spirit attachments, and how to avoid picking up unwanted energy from others. By taking these steps, you'll ensure that your spiritual journey is both uplifting and balanced.
Why Grounding & Protection Matter
There are three key reasons why staying grounded and protected should be part of your daily routine:
1. Psychic Attack
Psychic attack happens when negative emotions and energy build up, whether from conflicts, stress, or even negative thoughts directed at yourself or others. Since everything is energy-including our emotions-when we get caught up in anger or frustration, that energy has to go somewhere. Often, it gets projected toward the person involved, creating a cycle of negativity that can manifest as exhaustion, sadness, irritability, or even physical discomfort.
Psychic attack doesn't always come from arguments. It can also stem from gossip, resentment, or simply dwelling on negative thoughts. That's why shifting from a negative to a positive mindset is so important-not just for your own well-being but for those around you as well.
I once had a friend I had a falling out with (I can't even remember why!). Unbeknownst to her, she was sending me psychic attack energy, and I started experiencing terrible headaches. After ruling out medical causes, I asked my guides for insight. In my mind's eye, I clearly saw my friend's face and heard her name. That's when I knew what was happening. I called upon Archangel Michael to cut any negative energy cords and to send love and light to both of us. Almost instantly, my headaches disappeared, and I felt like my usual happy-go-lucky self again!
2. Psychic Vampires
Some people, knowingly or unknowingly, drain your energy to replenish their own-these are known as psychic vampires. Often, they don't even realize what they're doing. A classic example is the friend who constantly comes to you for advice but never acts on it. You pour your energy into helping them, yet they keep coming back with the same problems. Over time, you may start dreading their calls because you feel exhausted afterward.
The key here is setting boundaries. If someone repeatedly seeks guidance but never follows through, it might be best to step back. A good rule of thumb: try offering advice three times. If they don't take it, trust that they will seek help when they're truly ready. You're not responsible for fixing everyone's problems-so don't feel guilty for protecting your own energy!
Your Experience
Take a moment to reflect on a time when you may have experienced psychic attack. What were the signs? How did you feel? Jot down any details about the situation, the people involved, and why you believe you were under attack. Awareness is the first step to protecting your energy!
Picking Up on Others' Emotions and Energy - The Psychic Sponge Effect
In our daily lives, we naturally absorb the emotions and energies of those around us-like sponges soaking up water! If you've ever felt drained, tired, or even a little down after being around someone in a bad mood, chances are you've picked up on their energy. Just as we can absorb negativity from others, they can also pick up on our emotions, creating an ongoing energy exchange.
Ever noticed how much better you feel after venting to a friend? That's because you've energetically "offloaded" your emotions onto them. But the catch? Now your friend is left carrying that emotional weight! This cycle can leave both parties feeling depleted, which is why it's so important to stay grounded and protected.
