Emerson's POV:
After church, we went to Target to find decorations for the baby sprinkle but I ended up looking at baby clothes. Even though I have more than enough, I just love looking at them because they're so cute. "Look at this sweet little dress." I cooed. Marlowe smiled widely and grabbed it. "That is cute." Justin smiled and I put it in the cart. I ended up also getting some hair bows for Marlowe and Mila before going to the party section.
I sat outside as Justin, Dodger, and Marlowe were playing. I smiled as Dodger almost knocked Marlowe down. She laughed as he licked her chin. "Dodger, come." Justin said and he ran to his owner. Marlowe sat up, still laughing as her face turned light pink. I can't believe in a matter of weeks, Marlowe will be finished with kindergarten then she'll have her kindergarten graduation and will be on her way to first grade. I can't believe she's getting so big.
"Thanks babe." I smiled at Justin as he handed me a bowl of ice cream. I rested the bowl on my stomach and began to eat. "Are you using Mila as your table?" Justin chuckled. I smiled. "She makes me pee every few minutes so I can use her as a table." We both laughed and watched tv.
When I finished the bowl, I got up and went to put it in the sink. I felt a tightness in my stomach and gasped, leaning against the counter. "Are you ok?" I heard Justin ask. "Yeah, just Braxton Hicks." I said and went back into the living room. I sat back down and laid my head on his shoulder. Dodger walked over to us and laid his head on my knee. "Watching your baby sister?" I asked him and rubbed the top of his head. He licked my hand gently and smelled at my stomach.
