Emerson's POV:

I wiped whipped cream on Marlowe's nose and she laughed. Today was Father's Day and we made Justin his favorite breakfast; French toast, hash browns, and bacon. I set the table and smiled when I saw the picture Marlowe made him.

"Go get Justin." I said to her and she nodded, running up the stairs. A few minutes went by and Justin came downstairs with Marlowe on his back. "Happy Father's Day." I smiled at him. He gently kissed me. "Happy Father's Day Babe."

After going to church, we went to my parents' house for a family dinner. "Hey mom." I smiled when we walked inside. Marlowe ran into her arms and she picked her up.

"Happy father's day Justin." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thanks." Justin grinned. Marlowe went over to my sisters and they took her to go play. I sat in the kitchen with my mom.

"Getting to the end of the wire, are you excited?" She asked. I nodded. "Very. I can't believe the baby will be coming in a couple of months." I put my hand on my stomach. "I can't wait to see my second grandchild." She squealed.

I fixed Marlowe a hot dog with chili before sitting at the picnic table with her and Justin. "Thank you." She said when the plate was set down in front of her. I nodded and started eating my hamburger. "Have you had a great father's day?" I asked Justin. He nodded and grabbed my hand.

"Being able to celebrate my sixth Father's day with you two will always be amazing. I can't wait to celebrate it with little Mila next year." He smiled. I felt my heart flutter at his words. I'm so happy that I was able to have such an amazing man like Justin. I feel like I've won the lottery.
