Not Literally! (Thor Odinson)

A/N: I am working on a second part to my previous Thor imagine, but I saw this prompt on tumblr and I just had to write this.

Today, you were taking Thor to the aquarium.  And he was very excited.

"Are you not excited for all the wonderful animal we are to see today Y/N?"

You answer absentmindedly as you concentrate on your driving. "Sure, I've been there a couple times before so I kinda know what to expect."

He looked eagerly out the window. "Can't you go any faster?"

"I already going ten miles over the speed limit. Why don't you relax a bit and I'll tell you when we get there?"

"Okay, I will try to withhold my excitement."

"Good."

"..."

"..."

"Are we there yet?"

"THOR!"

Ten minutes (but it seemed like ten hours) later.

Thor grabs your hand the minute you step out of the car and immediately starts pulling you towards the aquarium. You walk quickly to keep up with him and to avoid having your arm pulled out of its socket. He pulls you right past the ticket stand despite your protests.

"No Thor, wait! We have to buy tickets to get in!"

Thor obediently follows you back to the stand and you look into the small booth. A startled teenager was sitting there, staring at Thor with their mouth open. "Hi!" You say cheerfully. They continue to stare. "Um, hello? Right here," you wave a hand in front of their face. They snap out of their trance. "How much for two tickets?"

"Don't worry Y/N, I've got this," Thor says.

"Oh no Thor, it fine-" Thor faces the star stuck teenager with a smile. "-okay never mind."

"I require two tickets Midguardian! One for me and one for my girlfriend." You blush a bit when he refers to you as his girlfriend.

"Uhh yeah, that'll be fifteen dollars."

Thor hands them a Asguardian coin. "Here's a kazillion. Boom! You're rich!"

You sigh and place down a twenty. "Keep the change."

"Ok, what do you want to see first? The saltwater reefs? The crustacean habitat? Oooo, how about we go pet some stingrays?"

Thor looks over your shoulder at the map. Scanning it, his eyes light up when he spots what he is looking for. "That one!"

"The shark tank? Really?"

"Yes! Loki has told me about your wondrous sea creatures and I am most excited about two of the sharks."

"Loki, huh," you sigh, wondering what Thor's brother was up to now.

Arriving at the shark tank, you look at the little information stand. "Here we are. Great white sharks, nurse sharks, tiger sharks-"

"Where is the majestic tiger shark?" Interrupts Thor excitedly.

"Uhh," you scan the tank. "There."

Thor stares at the shark with a frown on his face. "That cannot be a tiger shark. A tiger shark is the offspring of a shark and a tiger."

You choke on air. "WHAT?!?! Who told you that?"

"Loki told me."

"Of course. Thor, a tiger shark isn't some kind of tiger/shark hybrid. That's just the name they gave it."

Thor is silent for a couple seconds. "Okay, then where is the hammer head shark that resembles Minjor?" He looks at you hopefully.

Fuck.

"So a seahorse isn't an underwater horse with fins that you can ride?"

"No, it's just a fish. It does have several interesting qualities though."

"What about a starfish?"

"They have nothing to do with a big burning ball of gas."

"Electric eels?"

"No, those aren't-wait. Yeah actually, those are electric. They can shock you."

Thor opens his mouth to say something, but you quickly interrupt him. "And no, we cannot go swimming to see if you can withstand their shocks." He looks at you with disappointment.

"We should go home so I can go punish Loki for telling me these lies."

"If you really want to go home then I guess- wait, what did you mean by 'punish Loki'?" You hurry after Thor who is running towards the car. "Thor, wait!"

Loki smiled mischievously up at Thor, who had his hammer resting on Loki's chest. "I really can't believe that you actually believed those tales I told you brother."

Wow, it's been a while since I posted. I blame that on a busy summer and writer's block.

If you've made a request these past months, don't worry! I'm getting to them.

Also, because of my writers block, I have no idea who to write about next. So comment here who you'd like to read. I write about all the male Avengers.  I'm also working on an UNO II. Would you guys like that or do you want something else?
