"Do you think she can hear us?"
"Can't, she would've woken up by now."
"She's been out for awhile."
"Yeah, I wonder what she's dreaming of?"
"Freya said she wouldn't dream, she would just be in a deep slumber."
"I for sure thought she would've woken up by now." Footsteps, a creak of a door.
"How is Camille?" Klaus?
"No change." I'm trying to connect the dots in my mind. Klaus was there, which means I am probably safe. But the other male voice...it wasn't Elijah. Or Marcel. Who else could it be? Vincent? No that isn't right, the voice wasn't his. The other voice, a female. Who else does Klaus know except Freya? Or is it? My eyelids feel glued shut, but I must open them. I have to.
"Hey is she moving or is that just me." My fingers are tingling, moving ever so slightly. A groan escapes my lips and I try and force my eyes to open. "Okay, she definitely made a sound just then."
"Who is she again? I mean other than Klaus' shrink?" I paused waiting for Klaus to answer.
"A family friend, one who has done more for this family in this century than you."
"Eh, I suppose I deserve that." Who is that?
My eyes crack open ever so slightly. I can see a line of light out the bottom of my lid. I grimace and force them wide open. Gasps. It takes my eyes awhile to adjust, someone sits down next to me. It's Klaus. His eyes find mine. I break eye contact and look around the room. Rebekah stands at the foot of my bed, her long blonde hair curled and shortened to just below her shoulders. I haven't seen her in months. Next to her is a stranger. Short brown hair, thick eyebrows and a smirk planted on his mouth. I glance towards Klaus. Confusion is clear on my face.
"Camille, this is Finn." Finn Mikaelson, the smirk must run in the family. "My brother." I swallow, all that I have heard about Finn, the backstabbing. He makes me nervous. "Finn, meet Camille." Finn smiles at me. I don't trust him.
" Camille, it's lovely to meet you." My pulse quickens.
"Don't worry Camille, my brother will play nice," Klaus says it light-heartedly. "Won't you Kol." Sternly.
"Of course, my best behaviour I promise."
"Call-" I cough. "Call me Cami." I lean up on my pillows, no light-headedness. "Um...Rebekah! It's nice to see you again."
"Likewise, how are you feeling?" She moves a bit closer to me, walking up the left side of my mattress.
"A lot better actually, I suppose a good nights sleep was all I needed."
"Oh, um Klaus. You didn't tell her?" Tell me what?
"Well, I hardly got the chance she only woke up a few minutes ago."
"Whats going on?" I plead. "Klaus?"
"Alright, perhaps it is best if I Camille and I have a moment alone."
"Oh alright, point taken." Finn leaves the room followed by Rebekah.
"See you soon Cami," and she's gone. I turn my attention back to Klaus.
"So?!" Klaus sighs as though he would rather be doing anything but this.
"Cami before I tell you whats going on I want you to remain calm no matter what I say." He smiles. "Can you do that for me?" I hear a neigh through the curtain covered window. Wait.
"There are no horses in New Orleans," Panic sets in. "Klaus where am I." He grimaces and walks around my bed. He pulls open the curtains to reveal bushland.
"Welcome to Mystic Falls love."
