My dear Camille,

Do me the honour of joining us all for dinner on Tuesday coming.

Mikaelson Manor, just outside of the bayou. Black tie occasion

yours truly,

Klaus.

I re-read the invite again. Tonight is a Tuesday, Tuesday night. This night is the cause of weeks of the un-settled excitement/nerves I have felt since I got the invitation. I stand in front of my wardrobe, black tie, black tie, black tie. Mikaelson Black tie or regular black tie? I rifle through my clothes, regular it is.

The silver chiffon dress feels itchy on my skin, clinging to my slender frame showcasing what curves I have. Entering the Mikaelson manor property I remember my time with Elijah answering questionnaires, I can hear the music already, jazz and laughter. Walking up the steps I think of Hope, this is where I first met her.

"Camille?" There he is walking towards me on the washed out balcony. He wears a black suit and a black top underneath.

"Who's wake is this?" He looks baffled then puts the pieces together.

"Well if you really must know, I borrowed this from Elijah, all my suits are back at the compound and we've been staying here the last few weeks." He pauses, opens his mouth and closes it again debating.

"What?" He looks at me, eyes twinkling. "Klaus, what is it?

"We all have been staying here." I squint my eyes about to ask what he means when he moves. I get a clear view through the door.

"Hayley," I breathe I turn round to face Klaus who has a smug look etched on his pink lips. "You- you, you did it?!"

"Try and contain your surprise Camille," I look at him

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." I trail off when he starts smiling

"I wasn't offended Camille, To be quite honest even I did not know if I would go through with it."

"But you did!" I smile at him my smile spreads to my eyes

"Indeed I did." We walk through the door and into the warm atmosphere, his arm around my waist.

Hayley notices us and smiles at me, I smile back at her. I didn't realise how much I missed her. Her smile drops when she sees Klaus but manages to keep it intact. I turn to face the man that brought her back.

"I'm proud of you, you know," He looks down at me and smiles. The music changes to a slow melodic song, He puts his other hand on my waist.

"Camille I hope you know that I-" We start to sway in the music. "-I Couldn't have done what I've done without you," He looks uncomfortable like he didn't know he was going to say what he said. We swing in silence for a minute.

"You would've," He looks at me. "You're a good guy Klaus." He gives me his trademark smirk.

"I wouldn't be so sure Cami, you've only known me for a portion of my lifetime."

"I do," he looks past me, confused. "Know I mean." He remains looking outside. "Klaus? Kla-us?!" he stares out the window still. "For God's sake Klaus, would is so Goddamned important?" I turn away from him and look out the window, trying to find out what has him so captivated. A glint of silver catches my eye, outside in the bushes. "KLAU..." The arrow fires heading straight for my chest, I don't have enough time to move. When suddenly I am on the ground. Klaus Stands in front of me. I can see blood blooming purple against his black suit. He recoiled a second time, a third. He is on his knees now, gasping. "Klaus!" I start making my way up.

"NO, stay back Camille." I pause my heart tells me to go to him, my head says that his hybrid skin is a lot thicker than mine. "Please." I go with my head. Heat courses through my body when I try and sit down again. I look down I see a silver sparkle on my dress, then that sparkle is in a flood of red. "Oh..." I close my eyes to the sounds of screams, I see Hayley gripping Elijah's unconscious body yelling. "Hayley?" I can only hope she heard me as I rest my head on the wooden floorboard.
