Noah woke up to an empty bed and immediately sat up straight. He jumped out of bed and skipped downstairs to find everyone laughing and having fun. He felt happy that his friends took good care of Emma when he couldn't.
"Good morning, hero." Luke greeted him and he smiled. An enemy turned to a friend. Wow.
"Guys, I have to go to uni today, I need to prepare for the dance. So will guys be okay?" She asked, concerned.
"Emma, what are we? Three?" Jake scoffed.
"Well you guys sure do act like you're three." She muttered under her breath.
"We heard that!" Sam announced, faking being hurt.
"You were meant to." She retorted.
After serving breakfast, she took a shower and went inside her closet to change. She wore a red highwaisted sleeveless top and a blue jeans. She paired this with a long grey cardigan and her white converse. As usual, she left her hair open and went outside to see a sad Noah on her bed.
She walked to him and sat beside him.
"Hey, what happened?" She asked.
"You're going. I wanted to spend time with you. These boys will eat me alive! Don't leave me with them, please!"
She chuckled and put her hand on his shoulder, "They won't kill you. I'll be back by night. It's not long. Man up." She smiled and led him downstairs.
"Guys, I've left food and drinks in the fridge and don't make this house a mess! I'll be back soon." She ordered.
"She really treats us like three year olds. I don't feel like a gangleader now. I feel like a kid." Luke grunted.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
She was now gone. And the boys were talking to each other. When Noah went to his room for a while followed by Luke. He knocked on the door and asked permission to enter.
"Noah, I need to talk." Luke says.
"Yeah. About what?" Noah replies.
"Firstly, I'm sorry for what I did. Hopefully, I'm forgiven?" He looked down at his feet in embarrassment.
"Yup. You're forgiven. You should be thankful to Emma for this." Noah smiled. "What's the other thing?"
"She knows. She knows the truth." Luke said parting Noahs back.
"What do you mean? What truth?" He tensed up.
"Noah, you know what I'm talking about." Luke muttered and went back downstairs leaving Noah worried. She knew. She knew everything. She hates him more now. Oh god. He needs to fix this.
