"And we're here." They halted infront of a forest.

"We're where?" She asked, confused.

Holding her hand tight, he lead her to the most beautiful place she had ever seen, through the forest place was illuminated by the full moons light, and spread with flowers of different colours. A cliff was infront of them, and a waterfall on the side gurgling down. Emma took a few steps ahead and admired the perfect view.

"This is amazing, Noah." She breathed out, looking at the bright and full moon. Noah smiled behind her and came up to her, wrapping his large hands around her tiny waist, he fitted his head on her shoulder as he inhaled her scent.

"You know." He mumbled in her shoulder.

She breathed in, and exhaled, "Yeah... I know. You lied to me."

"I'm sorry. I didn't want you to hate him." He said, his voice breaking, a wave of emotions hitting him.

"I don't hate him. But why didn't you tell me? Why did you make me hate you for so long, when you're innocent? Why?" She asked, her tone gentle, as if she understood him.

"I don't know. I was running from Luke at that time, sadly we got tangled in the mess, I wanted to get away, jail was the perfect escape at that time or I thought I would be hung or maybe a lifetime prison sentence? I didn't know it would be for so less time. I thought he actually killed her but he didn't. What I didn't know was that a crazy girl like you would come barging into my life and take away my breath. I didn't know that crazy girl would forgive me. I didn't know I'd fall in love with that crazy girl. I didn't know I'd love you. But I guess I do. A lot, in fact. I'm sorry. You know I could kiss you to make it up, what do you think?" He smirked.

He could see the blush rise up her neck as she muttered, "Shut up. Tell me about him, what was he like?"

Noah unwrapped himself from Emma and took her hand in his. They walked, more like Noah dragged them to the edge of the cliff, and sat there. After he was sitting comfortably, he laid his head on Emma's shoulder and looked up at the moon as he began.

"He was perfect. For his age, he was very childish and immature, that was his disease. But he never failed to make me happy. He lightened up my moods. We were twins, I was the tough one, he was the childish one. I used to be jealous of him, then my mom told me that he had a mental disorder and was thus taken care of more. When we young, our parents were killed, we were fifteen, my grandma took us in, she was old and didn't have enough money, I got involved in bad stuff. I used to street fight and race to get money. We needed it. I lied to grams but later when I got arrested, she somehow found out. She warned me, I didn't listen, I wanted my brother to have everything he wanted. Every toy, every food, every video game. I wanted to make him feel like he wasn't different than me. Although his disorder had taken up everything, he was smart and intelligent. He saw me beaten up and scratched, he would get me bandaids and help me get baddaged. Although we were the same age, I treated him like a y[Unger brother. Then, we turned 18, I moved out and took him with me, soon Luke found me. He threatened me a couple of times. He didnt know about Troy. Nobody in our neighbourhood did. He was my secret. We used to sneak out at night in the dark and we would ride on my bike. That day, I was racing, Troy was at home, Luke broke in, as I taught him, he ran, he was so fucking brave. It was my fault. I left him alone. He ran and Luke was after him, thinking it was me as we looked alike. But it wasn't me. He found your house. He broke in to hide. I figured he wanted shelter. Your grams saw him and started shouting so he panicked and did what he could, he hit her with a vase, he didn't know it would cost him someone's life. He ran back to me. He was crying, sobbing of how sorry he was and how he couldn't change a thing. I was scared for him. I knew we would get caught so I told him to hide in his room and that i would go to jail for him. And that it wasn't his fault. Soon, news came by that your grams was dead. He was heart broken. He blamed himself and I blamed myself. He somehow knew you. He knew you. That night I went to his room to find him dead, laying in a pool of blood. I was in the same house with him and I didn't know! How careless am I! He cut himself because of my carelessness! It costed him his life. He died because of me!" Noah was shaking by now and a stray tear left his eye, unknowingly. Emma was teary as well. She turned around and took his face in her hands as she murmured that it was okay. And wiped his tears.

"I let him die. It was my fault. I buried him with a heavy heart and tears that night. We had the same face, he had lovely green eyes and was an inch shorter than me. He was perfect. He was all I needed. He left a very long more for me, telling me that it wasn't my fault. He said he was guilty and couldn't live with himself. He needed to be punished and jail wasn't the punishment he needed. He tried his best to convince me that it wasn't my fault. But it was. He died that night and he took my soul with him until I saw you. I hugged his body tight as I could, yelling, crying, wishing I was in his place, wishing he would come back to me, but he left like they did. They all left. And then I went to jail. I saw you there and I guess, I didn't hear a word you said as I was too busy admiring you. I remember the last line of my note saying, "I'm sorry, Emma. Forgive me."" Noah broke down into a set of tears and hugged Emma tightly. Crying in her chest as she comforted him by saying that she forgave everyone and Troy too. He cried harder. She ran her hand through his hair, tears running down her cheek.

After a while, the calmed down and Noah stood up. "He found this place, we were riding here and he wanted to stop here for some reason. And then we discovered this amazing place. This was our hideout. And we always did one thing before we left, will you do the honour of accompanying me to do it?" He smirked and she smiled.

"We jump from here into the water, Shall we?" He asked. Her eyes glinted with mischief and she nodded. Suddenly, Noah took off his shirt and she shielded her eyes yelling, "You idiot! What are you doing?!" Noah laughed and threw his shirt on the ground, along with his phone and keys. She removed her hands from her eyes and smirked, "You have a droolworthy body." He smiled, he liked that she wasn't that shy. She removed her shoes and they walked to the edge. He linked their fingers and looked at her. She was truly a graceful swan.

"Ready?" He shouted.

"Hell yeah!" Adrenaline ran through their bodies and they jumped.

Splash! And then sound of laughing was heard. Noah, like before, caught Emma in his hands, and they bubbled with laughter.

"Ahh! It's so freaking cold!" Emma groaned. He pulled her out and they looked at the crystal clear water.

"I would love to meet your brother, you know." She said.

"He would love you too. I miss him. He was my hero." He mumbled, kissing her forehead. The went back up and enna wrapped her her shawl around her, not wanting to take off her wet clothes. Noah put on his shirt and they sat on the ground. Soon, Emma was asleep and Noah picked her up bridal style. Adjusting her on his lap on the bike, he zoomed off back home.

Quietly, he unlocked the door and entered the house, Emma in his arms.

He tip toed upstairs and layed Emma in bed. Scratching the back of his neck, closing his eyes, he took off her wet clothes and dressed her in his shirt. After changing himself, he jumped into bed with her, and pulled her close by the waist snuggling his face into her neck. Pulling the covers over them, he drifted into deep slumber.
