𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗜 saw Aris in the hallway while I'm heading to the lab. I quickly walked in front of him and that caused him to stop.

"What?" he scoffed.

"Aris we need to talk," I said in a low tone, pulling him to the corner where no one can see us.

"(Y/n), I need to go to the gym. They'll be checking my physical strength," he said, irritation lacing voice.

"I know, I know. But I need to tell you something really important. Something that can verify your suspicions," I said, making his eyes widened.

Aris always had some thoughts that the facility was not purely good as what it was projecting to them. He found every tests suspicious. He even found me suspicious especially when Dominic was staring at me with such hatred.

"As what you had said, this facility," I gestured around, "is not really a safe haven. In fact, this place is worse than the outside world. This place is hell, Aris."

"What are you talking about, (Y/n)?"

"What happened to Rachel and the other girls was bad. They are not moved to a safer place and I don't want you to end up like them. You need to escape this place, Aris. The boys from Group A, the group of Thomas, bring them with you. Talk to them, convince them. Escape this facility as soon as you can."

"(Y/n), w-what... why are saying this to me?"

I sighed, not looking at him before saying, "Because I am one of them."

That made Aris more confused.

I started to walk away from him when he shouted behind my back, "You are one of what?"

I just kept on walking, leaving the boy wondering of what I just said.

The moment I stepped inside the lab, Dominic's glare cut through my skin like a scalpel. The boy really hated me with such an unfathomable reason.

"What did you tell him, (Y/n)?" Dominic asked, that usual accusation on his voice.

"Huh?" I creased my brows in confusion.

"Subject B1, that Aris guy. What did you tell him?"

"Are we still gonna fight about this, Dominic? I said I don't know what you're talking about." I walked away from him but he gripped on my arm.

"I saw you talking to him earlier. Seems like you are telling him more. To remind you again, I'm not going to let you ruin us. I'm not letting you destroy WICKED," he snarled, his nails digging deeper on my arms. I tried to escape from his grip but he just tightened his hold.

"Dominic, (Y/n), any problem here?" Janson asked when he reached us.

Dominic quickly released my arm and faced my father,"Nothing Sir. I'm just telling (Y/n) that if she loves her job then she should come to work on time."

"You're late again, (Y/n)? How many times do I have to tell you that you need to come on time?" Janson scoffed at me.

"I'm so sorry, Da– Janson. This won't happen again."

"You better be or else I'll throw you into the Scorch. Now work!"
