𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗨𝗧 from the tent, a worried Minho greeted me with questions about Brenda and her current state. Which I found weird because I never saw the two of them spoke with each other.
"She's currently resting. Mary just injected her the 'possible cure' from Thomas's blood but I'm not sure if it'll work. There's a lot of test and clinical trials to create that thing," I replied, air-quoting the possible cure.
"You don't believe Mary, don'tcha?" he asked that made me stop on my tracks and stare at him.
"What are you talking about?"
"You don't really believe that Mary just created the Cure. It looks like you are underestimating her because as what you've said, it requires 'test and clinical trials to create that thing'," he air-quoted the latter and rolled his eyes. "It sounds like your WICKED side is showing off."
I smacked his arm causing him to rub it immediately. "What?!" he scoffed.
"I do not have a WICKED side, dickwad," I glowered.
"See? You're cussing like Dominic now," he pointed out that made me smack his arm again. He laughed and raised his hands in surrender that just made me more pissed.
"I mean, I just can't believe that she might have created the cure in this environment. She's not inside a real laboratory and she doesn't have enough apparatus. I don't know if they have an autoclave here so maybe their scientific objects are contaminated while I spent my teenage years in WICKED mentally and emotionally tortured just to have the shucking cure," I ranted and Minho just raised his brow and crossed his arm.
"Oh, don't mind me. I'm just thinking in a scientific way," I kicked the small rock with my right foot.
"You are not full time doctor, aren'tcha?" he walked in front of me, still crossing his arms. Gosh, he's so tall.
"Bingo, shuckface. I am not. You're smart to figure that one out."
"Because I am really smart, duh," he rolled his chinky eyes, "So what are you really? A scientist?" he asked as we continued to walk.
"I could be scientist, a physician, a psychologist, an engineer but yeah, I'm more of a scientist. I'm a woman of profession actually."
"'Woman of profession'? Don't come smart and start babbling about your smartass when I am well aware that you are an idiot about love."
"What?!"
"Oh come on, Juliet. I am very aware that you love Newt over there," he pointed at Newt who happened to be staring at us and waved his hand. Both of us waved in reply before walking into the crates of food.
"I mean, yeah, I like him but I don't love him. There's a difference over there," I clarified as he offered me an apple. Honestly, I'm not clarified by my own clarification.
"Hmm, keep on lying to your little ass, (Y/n)," he said before biting his own apple. I just sighed and rolled my eyes, mimicking his actions.

"Are you really happy about it?" Teresa asked when I sat at the crates beside her.
"'Bout what?" I replied.
"Your decision to leave WICKED and be here."
I just stared at her for a moment, wondering why she asked it. Before I could even answer, she spoke.
"My memories are coming back to me. I know you now and I know the reasons why we are doing it. I'm just puzzled on why is it so easy for you to turn your back and walk away from our goal. We did a lot of stuffs for them, especially you."
