𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗡 two since there were two jeeps which were individually driven by Harriet and Sonya. The moment we moved out from the tunnel, the usual vast, barren land greeted us but as we drove farther, the scenery changed: some trees in the sidewalk and from far away distance loomed into view that made me surprised. We're probably very far from the Scorch that botanical organisms managed to grow. I usually see plants in the greenhouse and from the visuals in the Maze so this is really surprising for me.

Thomas showered Harriet with questions (he was really curious ever since we're little) but Harriet just shut him with "you'll find answers when we reach the base so shut up." If Minho was here with us, he will probably laugh at Thomas and Harriet.

We turned into left and Harriet parked the car. A place with several makeshift tents with crates of supplies on the sides greeted us as we stepped out from the car.

"They've been planning this for over a year now. This is all for us," Harriet gestured as we walk in their base.

"Guess you are lucky to find us when you did. We're moving out at first light," Sonya said and that clearly explains why there were a lot of crates and boxes around. I saw some people carrying supplies and hauling them in the back of the jeep.

"Where's Vince?" she asked the guy we just met along the way.

"Somewhere over there, I think," the guy responded, pointing to the right.

"Who's Vince?" Thomas asked as we walked through where that Vince man is.

"He's the one who decides if you get to stay," Harriet replied.

"So he's like the leader?" I asked.

"Exactly," Harriet replied and stared at me for a moment. Her expression shows that she's raking her brain if where on Earth she saw me first. Well, I think she saw me in the WICKED facility. I'm the one who checked Rachel when they arrived.

"I thought the Right Arm was supposed to be an army," Minho asked.

"Yeah, we were," a man answered that made us confused, who the heck is this man?

"This is all what's left of us." He has a long, brown hair that goes down to his neck and a beard. He held an aura of authority as he walked in front of us. This man must be Vince.

"A lot of good people died to get us this far," he looked at Harriet, "who are they?" he asked while tilting his head to our group.

"They're Immunes, caught them coming up the mountain," Harriet answered.

"Did you checked them?" Vince asked.

"I know this guy, Aris. I trust him," she gestured to Aris.

"Alright Tom, check them."

Right then, a man with a long hair with a rifle came near to us. I tried to hold my breath because I am scared until I heard ragged breaths from someone behind me.

"Hey boss-" Tom didn't finish his sentence as someone from behind me hit my shoulder then fell face-first on the ground. Brenda. She started shaking and gasping for oxygen like a fish out of water.

Jorge ran into her and start shaking her, "Brenda. Brenda, talk to me!" I rushed to Jorge and tried to check Brenda.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she mumbled with her face pale and her lips were dark shade of blue. She looked like she was very close to death.

People were starting to murmur questions and concerns around us that I didn't feel it when Vince touched my shoulders.

"What's going on with her?" he asked me.
