Chapter 8

Just a couple of months and a lot of things had already happened. During our trial of rescue at the USJ, we were attacked by a group of villains who call theirselves "League of Villains", it was a good thing that All Might came as well as the other pro-heroes to save us and there were no casualties aside from Aizawa-sensei being gravely injured as well as No.13 but they had recovered now. The League of Villains are still on the run that's why the U.A. staff and the police are taking great precautionary measures to avoid something like that from happening again.

As for the sports festival, I ended up in 5th place. Then there was this incident with the hero killer "Stain" where Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki were caught up. I am really glad and relieved that nothing happened to them, we've been so busy and everything seems to get more messed up that there are little room to think about other things. It helped me to forget about Toshinori-san and it was a good thing that we rarely see each other ever since my "prank" confession.

The sound of my alarm clock ringing woke me in my deep slumber. I search blindly for my phone to turn off my alarm and when I finally have the energy to open my eyes...7 am...HOLY SHIT! I'M LATE! I realized that I had ignored all my previous alarms.

Thankfully, I arrived to class 1 minute before the school bell rings. It's a good thing that Aizawa-sensei is still not here.

"Morning (Y/N)-chan!"

"Oh! Morning Uraraka-chan!"

"Good Morning (Y/N)-san!"

"Good Morning Deku-kun!" A chorus of good morning's came from my classmates.

"(L/N)! You're late!"

"Well good morning to you too Iida-kun! And I'm not late, I'm 1 minute early before the school bell rings." I said trying to reason.

"The baseline for students worthy of U.A. is starting the day 10 minutes early. And as the class president, it is my responsibility to make sure that all of you is on time."

"Right, right. Sorry Iida-kun."

"Now class is almost upon us, so everyone take your seats!" Iida said with his usual strange hand movements.

"We are all on our seats now, you are the only one who isn't Iida!" Mina-chan said teasingly, we all couldn't help but laugh.

"What a mad banquet of darkness..." Tokoyami said from the sidelines. He really likes saying that, well it's cool...A few minutes and Aizawa-sensei finally arrived.

"Morning." Aizawa-sensei said in his deep monotone voice.

"Today, we will be..." Our morning class goes well and we are currently at the cafeteria. I am eating lunch together with Uraraka, Asui, Iida, Midoriya, and Todoroki.

"So got any plans later (Y/N)?" Uraraka suddenly asked.

"Umm, nope. Why do you ask?"

"Ohh, me and Tsuyu-chan was just wondering if you could come with us to the mall. There's something we have to buy."

"Sure. I'd love to!"

"Great!" I noticed Uraraka and the others exchanged looks. Okay?

"So, what kind of cake do you like?" Sato asked out of nowhere. Where the hell did he come from?

"Strawberry cheesecake, I guess?"

"You're not allergic to anything?" Kaminari suddenly piped in.

"Nope."

"Okay, thanks!"Weird...

"It's for research." Sero quickly added before dashing to join Sato and Kaminari. I just nodded my head, not really sure how to react.

I am now on my way home with Uraraka and Tsuyu since they said that they wanted to see where I live. They never really bought anything from the mall, all we did was windowshopped and they kept on checking their phones for some reason. Everyone seems to be acting weird today, they're all in a rush for some reason...

When I opened the door, light instantly flooded the room and my eyes widen from what I saw.

"Happy 21st Birthday (Y/N)-chan!" It was the whole Class-1A. There are a bunch of balloons hanging around and a banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N). There are also other decorations on the wall and I am quite surprised that they fitted in my house since it's not that big. They all opened their confetti poppers.

"Oh gosh! I actually forgot that it is my birthday! Thank you guys! Is this the reason why everyone's acting suspicious earlier?"

"WHAT? ARE YOU DUMB? HOW COULD YOU FORGET YOUR OWN BIRTHDAY?" Bakugo said exasperated.

"Hey man! Can you be nice at least for now, it's (Y/N)'s birthday." Kirishima said trying to reprimand Bakugo.

"Tch. Fine!" I just laugh it off and then everyone exclaimed to bring the cake. Sato came out of the kitchen holding Strawberry cheesecake and Yaoyorozu started singing "Happy Birthday" as everyone joined in and circled me. I blow the candle and silently make a wish.

"I wish for everyone to become the hero they aspire to be."

We then proceeded to eat and I was shocked that someone even brought a dvd karaoke player.

This the best birthday ever! I'm sure my parents are very happy up there. Hehe, I bet my mom is crying right now.

I didn't notice that I am crying until everyone stopped what they are doing. They all panic but I grinned widely at them and told them it was tears of joy. They all released a sigh of relief.

"Thank you everyone, really."

"All right! Time to party!" I shouted and they responded with an enthusiatic,

"PLUS ULTRA!"
