My Unrequited Love || All Might × Reader

Chapter 10

"What a peaceful sunny day!", is what I wanted to say but a certain someone ruined it. You see, I am on my way home but a villain appeared out of thin air. You know what's even worse? There is a mother and child nearby the villain. Shit! Before I even know it, my body is already moving on its own and I am already running towards the villain without a plan in mind. Yay! Is this how an unplanned suicide works?  The villain is about to clasp in his crab-like hand the mother and child but I was fast enough to save the child but slow enough to save her mother.
The villain is now holding hostage the mother of the child.

I noticed that there are no patrolling pro-heroes and the crowd seems to be too busy watching instead of calling for help. They only have me.

"Damn it!"

"Mommaaaa! Uwaaahh!!" The child beside me is now crying hysterically and I am starting to panic. Suddenly, I have a flashback of my parents' funeral. No no no! This is not the time to panic, people's  lives are at stake. I'll definitely save and protect them both.

I turned to the little girl. "Hey sweetie, don't worry alright? I'll definitely save your mom." I gave her the widest smile that I can muster and pat her on the head as I face the villain head on. I can feel adrenaline rushing through my body.

"What are you gonna do 'hero'? You think a kid like you can do anything?" The villain said mockingly.

"Shut up!" I tried to come up with a plan that will not hurt the hostage as I dodged the villain's attack. Oof! Almost got hit, tch. The villain keeps on attacking repeatedly that left me with scratches. Just then I see an opening. I activated my quirk hitting the villain's legs, he staggered then I took my chance by covering my hands with graphite sending a punch to his face. Then I created a sword made of diamond with crystals sticking out like thorns to cut through his hands as I quickly snatch the hostage. Fuck, that was nerve-racking.

"Momma!" Her mother quickly enveloped her in a tight hug before turning to me.

"Thank you so much for saving us!"

Suddenly a surprise attack came from the villain, it left me no chance to dodge nor to evacuate the civilians into a much safer place. So instead, I used my body as a shield readying myself from the blow but to my surprise...nothing.

"It's All Might!"

"It's really him!" Huh? I heard a loud blast and a thunderous groan from the villain.

"Have no fear citizens! For I am here!" I opened my eyes and I was greeted by the sight of All Might. His face is right before mine since he shielded us with his body while he neutralizes the villain's attack with his free hand to send a shock of wave using one of his signature moves.

"Are you all right young (L/N)? Sorry I am late, you did a great job holding off the villain." All Might gently patted my head.

"Ye-yes, thank you sensei!" He stood up to his full, towering height. Despite seeing him in U.A. a lot of times, I still couldn't help but to get mesmerize whenever he makes an appearance. And seeing him in a real fight is a sight to behold, his presence alone is enough to send villains' scrambling to their feet.

"Now, now, villain. Preying on an innocent child and her mother? And you dare hurt my student!?" I noticed that All Might looks angry. He doesn't have his usual smile on his face and in a blink of an eye, All Might is right in front of the villain. The villain weren't even given the chance to recover from All Might's previous attack and All Might is already preparing for another blow.

"Detroit Smash!" A hit right on the stomach and the villain was sent flying. Wow, that's the number 1 hero for you! Not long after the villain's defeat, other pro heroes came to help in evacuating other civilians that were affected and All Might are now swarmed by the reporters.

The child from before suddenly gave me a hug and said to me, "Thank you hero! When I grow up, I want to be like you and I will protect Momma just like you did."

"Hehehe, what a sweet girl. I am (Y/N)(L/N) and your name is?"

"Lily!"

"Lily-chan, I'm sure you will make a great hero someday." I smiled at her warmly and I was about to take my leave when someone's hand on my shoulder literally made me stopped from walking.

"I see, looks like you earned yourself a fan." I turned to see All Might standing beside me with a gentle look on his face.

"A-All Might! Umm, thank you for saving us!"

"If it weren't for your bravery and quick judgement, the citizens would have been put in grave danger. So there is no need to thank me."Wow, it is an honor to get a compliment from the greatest hero.

"T-thank you sensei." All Might gave me a thumbs up and his signature smile seems to widen a little. Is that even physically possible?

"Come now, my girl! Your wound needs to be treated. I'll bring you to the school's infirmary."

"Wh-what. No, no, I'm fine, these are just scratches."

"Nonsense! Small or big, wounds are still wounds." My reply was cut short when I felt someone hoisting me up into the air. All Might is...ALL MIGHT IS CARRYING ME!?

"Holy shit we're flying!" My eyes drifted from one building to another. I am starting to feel nauseous.

"That's right! So I suggest that you hold on to me." I quickly wrap my arms around his neck, clinging to him for my dear life. I shut my eyes hard not really wanting to see how high we are right now.

Why does All Might reminds me of Toshinori-san...they're the exact opposite of each other and yet, I can't help but feel a sense of familiarity.
