Don't Judge

Dedicated to Slugterreancat, although the dedication can't be official because I'm on my phone ;)

We're currently almost done with a three hour car drive (I'm going crazy in this minivan, I need to do something NOWWW xD), and I'm fairly annoyed right now

So I thought I might as well rant on here a bit, right?

My little sister and I were watching Slugterra: Ghoul From Beyond on the iPad. It was hooked up and charging through one of the plugs in the car. But because of that, it was playing the movie sounds through the radio speakers of the car. And it's pretty cool to listen to a movie like that, by the way.

Anyways, my mom was talking with my older sister on her phone, and it was on speaker. Meanwhile, explosions and yelling and stuff can be heard from the car speakers, the sounds from the movie.

Well, I don't know who said it, Mom, big sis, or someone else on the phone, but I just hear:

"What the heck are you watching? That show is so stupid."

Well, one who must judge, I did NOT ASK YOU.

I mean, c'mon, my family watches CRAZY shows!!!

Mom watches a show about demons and angels and stuff (Supernatural)

Dad watches alien shows on the discovery channel

Big sis watches a show about Time Lords and a time traveling blue box! (Doctor Who. I love it, but still, it's strange.)

And you're gonna judge my underground world with transforming creatures show?

What the heck?

I just don't get it.

One day at school, we were having a free art day, and I was doodling the Clan symbols from Warriors. And my friend asked what they were. So I say "RiverClan, ThunderClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan."

And this boy the next table over jumped up when I said 'ShadowClan' and says "Did you say the Shadow Clan? Does anyone in here watch Slugterra?" (the Shadow Clan and ShadowClan are different things, by the way :3)

So I say yes and we spend a solid five minutes straight geeking out over this TV show. And when we finally pause, literally EVERYONE in the room is watching. Then they start getting on us about being nerds and watching a boy show. (the latter was directed at me, not the boy)

Now, come on.

Everyone was just ranting about the Hunger Games earlier, and me and the boy (both of us don't like HG) stayed politely quiet

And you all are gonna get on us about our TV show?

Just don't judge people. If we had gotten on about how terrible the Hunger Games and such were, the others would have been unbelievably ticked off!

Well Slugterra is our Hunger Games.

So don't judge.

Just deal with it. Silently.
