I'm curious now, what kind of school books do you all have?
Do you still have actual textbooks, or are your books online now?
Because this year they're giving us laptops, and all of our worksheets, textbooks, etc. will be on them. Then for things like math we'll still have paper to do our work on and such.
I've got mixed feelings on these.
Pros
-Don't need to listen to teachers complain as we "waste paper"
-Might be able to sneak some games in...?
-It's a perfect excuse to be on the laptop all the time
-Work gets done faster; I don't know about you guys, but I can type a whole lot faster than I can write.
Cons
-My grade is full of idiots. Like, my friends and I are already betting on who will lose theirs first, break theirs first, etc.
-If you forget it you're screwed
-People (I admit it, even me) won't be paying attention, they'll be playing around online
But hey I'm excited, I want laptops. Although I wish they would let you bring your own personal laptop if you have one, because their laptops are tiny but mine has a huge screen. I literally can't use their tiny ones, it hurts my eyes and the keyboard is too small
So what does your school do for books? Or do you even have books? Or do you even know?
'Cause usually I'll just pretend school doesn't exist until summer is over :D
Cyan out!
