Omg, The New Shane has over 10K views!!!! That is AWESOME!!! :)
Thanks to all my readers, that's... Wow! :)
Lol I'm on the school bus smiling like a moron now xD We're going on a field trip to a career place. Not too excited. If you have my Instagram, you'll see that I've been shoved off my bus seat so I'm sitting alone now :D
I'm taking three classes at this place: Veterinary Assistant, Software Design, and Pre-Engineering. I'll let you know how they go, although I'm not too enthusiastic. If I'm getting college credit in high school (which I plan to), it'll be through a college, not a career center. But A) these classes might be fun and B) it means I get out of gym today
So I'm set xP

Back! It was... Interesting.
Well, for starters, there was a big forty minute presentation before we started. Not fun.
My first stop was at the Veterinary Assistant building. It was pretty fun, we got to work on training a dog, groomed a dog, and I held a gecko and a snake :D the snake was kinda strangling my hand, slightly alarming, but he was adorable.
Next, I went to Software Design. Originally I wanted 3-D Designing, but scheduling issues got me software stuff instead. I talked to a robot that the senior students programmed, it was awesome! The student said "Mimic a sport", and the robot would mimic sports and we'd guess what sport it was. It did horseback riding, soccer, and skiing. If you guessed correctly it said good job, and if you guessed incorrectly (just to see what would happen, instead of skiing we guessed "walrus") it would tell you the right answer. Then we played a Pong game a student programmed and a game kinda like Gary's Mod
LaSt, I went to Pre-Engineering. Unfortunately, there were eight other boys and I was the only girl. We got in vans and drove to a nearby community college, that's where the facility was. The drive there was fine. We toured the facility and messed around with a machine that shaped metal. A few boys were obnoxious, especially with the 3-D printer stuff, but it was fun. We all got plastic coasters that the students made, then headed back. We got to the vans, and since there was nine of us, four kids went in one and five in the other. On the way there I was in the four-person van, but a few boys moved around, so I went to the five-person van on the way back. I had to sit in the middle seat, between two boys, one of which I really like. So yeah, I was squashed in between them for the ride back.
Finally, we made it back a little late to the building we started in. On our way into the room where everyone else was (they were talking about the classes and stuff), I got stopped by a lady to get a picture for the local newspaper. She also stopped one of the boys in my Pre-Engineering class (luckily not the one I liked), and we got pictures.
And now I'm back on the bus, really wanting food
Cyan out!
