↓↓Author's big note here↓↓

Guess who's back? Back again? Author's back, tell a friend. Anyways, I'm back with writing and all but I want to let you all know I'm not going to be writing as often because of my summer activities now. I'm going to have a pretty busy summer with my multitasking day by day and some studies I'm doing. But I am going to have a steady update schedule. Hey, and guess what? I've started that sequel. So once I get a good five chapters done, I'll update one each day to give me time to write another and write in this book here.

That should be all. Oh, and requests are still taken.

(Name) POV

Everything seemed so different, yet the same. Jericho was rising up, and everything started to go down. Elizabeth escaped somehow, I didn't know too much on how that happened. Well, at least my cover up was that I didn't know. Of course I knew, but people didn't suspect I'd have anything to do with it. Even Connor doesn't know I have something to do with it.

Every now and then, she'll come from Jericho and to my house to talk to me. She seems glad I helped her escape from being reset. She also still has this thing that she learned now. Apparently, she ships me and Connor now which I have no complaints about. I'm not sure Connor has complaints, seeing as he doesn't know what a ship is. Tonight though, was one of the nights where things would get out of hand.

Elizabeth was here, and I didn't expect any visitors.

"...And so I've convinced Markus that going a peaceful way is the correct way. Violence would get us all killed." Elizabeth finished as I nodded. "Yeah, seems violence would only make it worse" I reply without any type of emotion in my voice. By now, she's gotten used to me not showing emotions like other humans would. But it's kinda nice to be able to talk to someone without scaring them somehow.

"So, how are you and Connor doing?" Elizabeth asked me and I shrugged. "Who knows. We've been working and all, he's been more... Open about his interest in me but I'm having a hard time showing mine. I also don't know how he feels about the whole, 'Androids actually are alive' thing either." I reply in a monotone voice. "Well, I think you two would be cute together. I can tell he does like you, and I know that you like him. What's stopping you?" She asked and I shook my head. "Everything. The fact that he's an Android fighting deviancy. If anyone catches wind about him having feelings for me, they'll take him back to Cyberlife to be replaced or reset. I don't want that to happen" I reply as I get up from the table and walk into the kitchen to get another cup of tea.

I put the sugar in the hot liquid and stirred, walking back to sit down. "How many cups have you already had in this conversation?" She asked, raising a brow and crossing her arms like a mother would. "About four, I see no problem" I replied in a monotone voice. "Too much caffeine is not good" she warned and I hummed. "Tell that to my high school self. I used to drink coffee nonstop and pull all nighters" I reply as I take a sip of the warm liquid, feeling the warmth hit my belly and warm me up once more.

"Unhealthy I say. Very unhealthy" she replied. "Yeah well-" I was cut off by a knock at the door. "Detective (last name)!" I hear Connor's voice and me and Elizabeth exchange a look. "Go to my room, and close my door quietly. Do not make a sound while you are in there. Shut my window and pull the blinds closed. I'll deal with this" I whisper, getting up as she did as well. She did as I told and I went to the door, getting ready to open it. I open it and see Connor with his fist raised, most likely getting ready to knock on the door again.

"Hello Connor" I say in my usual 'I have not a soul' tone and he smiled kindly at me. "Hello, (Name). I just wanted to stop by since today was your day off and I enjoy your company" he responded. "Well, that's good to know. A call would have been nice" I said, not knowing what could have happened if he looked through any windows. "Yes, but I found it to be a more pleasant thing to be surprised by" he responded, his brown eyes glimmering with happiness.
