Hank POV

  It's been two days since anyone at the station's seen (Name). I felt guilty for not listening to Connor's warnings back when he/she was at the station being friendly to everyone.

Flashback to three months ago

  It was another day in the department, everyone doing their own thing. (Name) walked in, a shining smile on his/her face and a positive attitude like always. "Jesus Christ, if that girl/boy continues to smile like that day after day they'll turn into a living statue" I said, shaking my head at how much (Name) seemed to stay positive.

  "Lieutenant, you'd be surprised" Connor said, looking away from (Name) and back to me. "Surprised about what?" I asked, furring my brows in confusion. "How much (Name) appears to be suffering mentally and emotionally" Connor said, afterwards giving me random numbers and brain chemical names until I stopped him. "I don't see the problem though, and (Name) appears to be happy right now" I said, turning back to my work. "Of every scan I've done on (Name), it all comes back the same" Connor said, confusedly. "Maybe your fancy pants system's fucking broken." I muttered while putting little thought into it. "Or it could be (Name)'s mental state that is-" "Connor, don't you have work to do besides stalking our co-workers?" I asked, wanting him to shut up about it.

  "Yes Lieutenant" Connor replied quickly. "Well then get to it! Stop dilly dallying around" I said as I continued to read on cases I didn't want to do. The boring cases, that is.

Flashback ends

  I didn't think (Name) had any type of mental health problems. Guess I was wrong, but I began to worry for the usually sprightly coworker who tried to brighten everyone's day. I sigh, knowing I have something I need to do and that's to find (Name) and male sure he's/she's alright. "Come on, Connor" I say, getting out of my chair with Connor following. I walk to Fowler's office, going inside and he turns to me.

  "What do you need, Hank?" Jeffrey asked, looking at me dead in the eye. "Is there anyone here actually doing their job on missing people and trying to find (Name)?" I asked, not cursing at all in that sentence which is rare. "There's no need to, she'll/he'll be alright" Jeffrey said and I pinched my nose between my index finger and thumb. "Fucking hell, Jeffrey are you that inconsiderate towards the boy/girl?" I ask rudely, now seeing why (Name) was feeling the way that he/she was. They are surrounded by idiots on a daily basis!

  "I suggest you get back to work, Hank. You were assigned to the Android cases, so get back to those." Jeffrey said and I scoffed. "Only we all treated (Name) like an Android. We pushed him/her to his/her limit and they cracked open like a goddamn egg! That kid's been treated like absolute shit and no one had a second thought about it. Just like humans treat the Androids. If that isn't a good enough reason to go searching for (Name), I don't know what is" I yelled, pissed off at how Jeffrey was acting. "If you want to waste your time searching for a useless asset to the department-" "why do you hate the kid so much? Seems to me like you've been quite the bully yourself towards (Name)." I said, crossing my arms and glaring at Jeffrey.

  "I don't hate (Na-" "that's a damn lie and you know it. You've picked on (Name) more times this week than I could count. The worst part is, is that those assholes outside this office has especially treated (Name) exactly how you did. Shit" I said. He didn't say anything, knowing I was right. "Just get out of my office. Search for (Name) if you want, but when cases pile up and they aren't solved I'm going to mark your-" "yeah yeah" I say as I walk out of the office with Connor silently following.
