Meanwhile, (Y/N) had managed to pick themselves up (despite the spaghetti run's hazardous environment) and had limped over to the side of the track. (Y/N)'s (Y/E/C) eyes looked over to the Gabbani-mobile. Francesco was watching over Maddie as she recovered from her injuries. (Y/N) felt a surge of jealousy, and turned away, not able to look at the two any longer.
Suddenly, out of the corner of their (Y/E/S) eye, (Y/N) saw someone approaching, but who could it be? Gradually, the person's identity became clear to (Y/N). Noone couldn't recognise those... hands. (Y/N) and Francesco's saviour stepped out of the shadows and made his way towards (Y/N).
"It hurts doesn't it. Seeing someone you... love with someone else." he said with a voice like velvet. (Y/N) didn't answer, as tears gathered in their (Y/E/S) eyes. "I, too, have felt that way. I used to have someone like that. His name was Daddy. Daddy Hayes. He was everything to me. I was truly Proud To Belong to him. But then he found someone else." As he uttered these words, huge muscled tears started to fall from his eye-holes. " Dawn. She took away everything I ever loved. So, I spent my time working, training, planning. One day I will take back what is mine. I will take back my Daddy." The man turned towards (Y/N), with tears streaming down his face. "You have to improvise, adapt, overcome. Daddy Hayes may not love me, but I will never give up on him, and you should never give up on yours.
(Y/N) turned back towards him, but he'd gone! (Y/N) just glimpsed the edge of a muscular hand disappearing into a pile of spaghetti. They then turned back to the Gabbani-mobile, watched Francesco carefully handing Maddie her nakd bar and orange juice. (Y/N) would never be able to make Francesco look at them that way.
(Y/N) decided they couldn't watch those two together any longer. Turning away, they began their slow way back to the Gabbani Clubhouse, lost in their thoughts.
The whole reason they'd asked for the help of Maddie was on order to help Francesco realise his feelings for (Y/N), but instead he'd fallen for the Audley's Angel; the one person he couldn't have.
