Chapter 7: This Maybe Our Last

>Cato’s POV<

            “CATO!! NATHAN !! WAKE UP RIGHT NOW!!” I voice said, immediately waking me up. I turn my head around seeing Clover and Sata with wide smiles on their faces. “What? What is it guys?” I ask. They hold up the out fits in their hands and then Sata says, “Your interviews are in two hours. We need to get started.” I groan and then look back at Nathan, eyes twinkling even in the shade of my body. I feel a smile creep up on my face, and then I peck a kiss on his forehead.

            He snuggles his head into my chest. His hair and skin sending a shiver down my spine. “Come on baby let’s get ready.” I coo.  He looks up, and jumps out of bed, walking with Clover to the styling room. “Come on big boy. Let’s get you ready!” Sata says with a smile creeping up on her face. I roll my eyes and ease myself out of bed.  “What time is it? I ask. Sata says, “7:30 a.m.” Sheesh this interview is early.

(1 Hour And 50 Minutes Later)

            “Okay. You are done.” Sata says happily. I look absolutely amazing. I look amazing as always. My blonde hair shinier than ever and spiked up the way I like it. I’m wearing black pants, and a gold jacket, with a black shirt underneath, complimented with a sliver tie, and shiny gold, silver and black shoes. Nathan was wearing the exact opposite of me. He was wearing white pants, with a silver jacket, with a white shirt underneath. Then complimented with a gold tie, and shiny silver, gold, and black shoes.

            His brunette hair was amazingly styled, and really brought out his eyes. Hamish and Dev entered the room and said, “Alright you two!! Get your game faces on and let’s go. “ Hamish guided us to our positions in line, just behind Glimmer and Marvel.  Then one of the men who was probably stage crew said, “Okay tributes!! Move to you seats when they call you. “

            Then the doors opened and there was Caesar Flickerman. Caesar was our interviewer and did wear some really cool stuff. But never mind that, I am going to prove Nathan I’m sorry. Then Caesar Flickerman called out, “Nathan Murdoch ladies and gentlemen!!” The crowd went wild. Nathan then sat in his seat next to Glimmer, and then gave a small nod and smile. “Cato Hadley!!” Caesar called out. I walked out and the crowd was wild.

(30 Minutes Later)

>Nathan’s POV<

            Cato looked at me and smiled. He then shifted in his seat, and put his arm on my leg, rubbing it slightly. Oh gosh. “Thank you Glimmer. Hope the odds will forever be in you favor.” Then Cato moved his hand away as my chair moved forward, and Glimmer’s moved back. When my chair finally stopped, Caesar said, “Ladies and gentlemen!! Nathan Murdoch!! Give him a round of applause!!” The crowd went wild.

            “Nathan. You look simply dashing. Mind if you show your outfit?” I nodded, and turned around letting my outfit shine. I sat back in my seat and then Caesar said, “So Nathan. You have certainly got a lot of praise from people, and especially the sponsors. But what got you to shoot at them.” I then replied, “Well anger just got to me because I could barely get 2 sponsors to watch me. It’s just I wanted the assurance to win. But I’m doing my best to keep my cool, and not let my cockiness get to me.” The crowd clapped and cheered.

            “So you’re quite the attractive guy. Do you have any one who you’re dating who you would like to shout out to?” Caesar asked. Oh my gosh. What do I do? I then look back at Cato, slightly and his face is full of worry. I turn back to Caesar and say, “No I’m not dating anyone. I have someone on my mind but I don’t want to talk about it.” I then look at the camera and say, “Mom, Niall, Louis, and Zach. You’re the best and I love you all.” I feel the tears fall from my face, but wipe them off quickly.
