A broken bond

(Suna's POV)

I wake up in a dark room with chains around my wrists and ankles that lead to either side of the room. My gourd, scrolls and fans where all gone and I could see someone walking towards me, It was a Leaf shinobi. I could already tell it had been a few days sense the attack.

'Kakashi..' I thought.

"Ok Suna.. let's get straight to the point.. why did you help attack the Leaf?" Kakashi asked.

"I was just following orders.." I said blankly.

"Why would the Sand and Sound attack the Leaf?" Kakashi asked.

"..I don't know." I said.

Kakashi continued to question me then left along with all the other shinobi and ANBU that came with him.

"Subaku, I'm not staying here.. could you possibly-" I started.

"Yeah sure kid." Sabaku replied.

My eyes changed to hers and I broke threw the chains easily making all the shinobi and ANBU race back in. I let out a low growl once I see them surrounding me.

My sand tail formed and I knocked them all down easily and took that chance to leave. I made my way to the trees and let the sand disappeared as I thought about where my stuff would be.

"Subaku.. do you know where my stuff would be?" I asked.

"Sorry Suna.. we might as well just get back to our village." Sabaku replied.

I let out a low growl as the thought of my twin brother crossed my mind.

"I'm sure he had a reason to leave you.. I know that's not much of an excuse but I know your brother loves you." Sabaku stated.

"Whatever.." I said as I started my way back to the Sand.

'Gaara!! GAARA ANSWER ME!!!!' I continued to yell but eventually gave up and took a small brake in a cave to avoid a sand storm.

I curled up into a ball as I slowly started to fall asleep.

(Gaara's POV)

It's been almost a week now since the attack and still we haven't found Suna. I was sitting on my bed as I wait for the Sand shinobi to find her.

I stare at the black bed that was covered in books and scrolls as I hope she's ok. Just then my older siblings burst threw the door with a happy look.

"What do you want?.." I asked in a harsh tone.

"It's Suna.. she just showed up at the village!" Kankurō blurted out.

My eyes widen at the comment and I race out of the room and towards the Kazekage office. I burst threw the door and met eyes with my sister.

"Suna!!" I yelled as I ran up to her and hugged her only to have her push me away.

"Suna what's wrong?" I asked. Suna didn't reply, she only walked passed me and towards our room.

I slowly walk into the room and see her looking threw her desk then pulled out her black wallet.

"Suna.. what's wrong?" I asked, again no answer.

She walked passed me then down the hallway passing Kankurō and Temari along with other shinobi.

"Hey Gaara.. what's wrong with Suna?" Temari asked.

"I don't know.. it could be because we left her.." I said making them both look down in shame.
