Chapter 23- Does It Get Better?

The months went on, the lads had been touring for awhile now and I was stuck back in Manchester working my silly day job at the pub; Liam had insisted that I just quit and live out on the road with him but I couldn't plus being stuck with him and Noel all day would drain my emotions. Oasis had been touring around England for the past 6 weeks and they we're coming back to Manchester to play a gig which was exciting, Liam and I talked every night before bed not giving either of us a chance to miss eachother but I did miss him around here causing a ruckus and making me smile. Peggy, Paul and I were going together to the gig tonight and it was a quick 20 minute walk to the venue and my flat was on the way, I made sure to wear Liam's favourite outfit of mine it was classy but a little trashy, classy enough that I wouldn't get judged in public for it. A knock at the door came and I rushed to it opening to Peggy and Paul "Ready kid?" Paul asks "I am! Let's go" I reply coming out of the flat locking it up now we were on our way, "I think Liam will be happy to see you" Peggy says as we walk "I think him and Noel will be happy to see all of us" I reply, I knew Noel would be happy to see his mother and brother but probably won't be as happy to see me since it was still quite awkward between us. After the chat we had at the cafe it was kinda just left at an awkward stand still with no looks of going forward with our relationship unless I was to call it off with Liam which wasn't happening anytime soon, I was more in love with Liam these days then I think I'd ever have been and rarely now did Noel cross my mind as much as he did a few weeks ago which I liked. Our walk came to an end as we arrived at the venue hall where Oasis was playing tonight, security led us backstage to the guys dressing room and as soon as we walked in Noel and Liam's faces lit up, Liam rushed over to me hugging me tightly and kissing me as much as he could "six weeks is too long" he whispered to me "I know love, I've missed you" I whispered back. Liam pulls away and moves toward his mum then Noel approaches me, "Hello Ivy Daniels" he says embracing me for a hug "Hello Noel Gallagher" I reply pulling away, we had to play this charade that we were getting along which we were but not fully. When or how would it ever get easier.
