Chapter 19- Its Always Been You

Did Noel actually just write a fucking song about me? While the show went on I was still stuck in that moment with this song, I didn't know whether to be flattered or pissed off that he used me as his muse for the song. I needed to talk to him. As the show began to end I saw Liam keep looking toward me with a concerned look on his face he could always figure out when something was wrong with me but I didn't want him to know about this since he'd blow his lid on Noel and I was not ready for more drama between us three, this one was between Noel and I. Obviously I didn't want to make it a big deal but I just wanted Noel to tell me that he wrote it about me. The guys ran off stage one by one Noel of course blowing past me and Liam trailing along lastly with the crowd still cheering for them, Liam snaked his arm around my waist as we begin going to the car to the airport since now it was time to go back to Manchester which I was beyond happy about I hadn't been home in years it's felt like. Reporters filled the backstage swarming around Noel to ask him who this mystery girl in which the song was about and I felt like throwing my hand up and yelling "me people, it's about me!"  Once we were all piled into the car, Liam and the other lads in the band were just on a high after that show but Noel just looked out the window and I stared at him with a glare, he then looked up to me with a half devilish smile well knowing that now I knew. Liam tugged me to get closer to him then he wrapped his arm around me kissing my head "How'd you like the show, babe?" He asks "Great as usual" I say back smiling up at him "That's my Ivy baby" Liam whispers leaning down to kiss me, Noel grunts and we both look toward him "Noel is just mad he didn't find a decent looking bird at the show" Liam teases "Fuck off rkid" Noel replies back taking a drag from his cigarette. Now we were at the airport and everyone was checking in their bags, Noel and I were the last ones in line so I thought this was the perfect opportunity so I tapped his shoulder and he turns to me "So, how about that song" I say "Yeah, good one innit" he says back "Does Liam know it's about me?" I ask, Noel looks down at his shoes biting his lip "I don't think he really needs to know at this point" he says causing me to roll my eyes at him. We move in line closer toward the baggage desk Noel and I went silent, then he looks back at me "Just so y'know Ivy," he begins "I don't care if you're with Liam or some random bloke but just know in my life you'll always be the one."
