Patton was in an pickle. In a bind. In a situation out of his control. He was in his room trying to stop the tears that kept flowing down his face. He knew that his host Thomas was upset and he wanted nothing more than to comfort his special little guy, but the blinding blue always stopped his efforts.
Whenever his host got upset, his sight would be flooded by the colour blue blinding them until Thomas calmed down and was happy again. Patton sighed and put his head onto his knees and waited for this to pass like it all ways did.
Someone would hopefully help Thomas cheer up, hence his friends or another trait, the man would always get happy again. Patton sniffed and tried again with no success to wipe away an tear.
"I wish someone would cheer me up." He thought sombrely but then shook his head, that was just plain selfish to ask of his fellow traits to do such a thing especially if they are busy with an upset Thomas. The blinding blue grew to an lighter blue to dark royal blue and Patton could help but let out an scared whimper.

Virgil was outside of the mind-scape trying along with Logan and Roman to help cheer up their host, but nothing was working. The tears just kept flowing out of his eyes.
"Thomas what happened?" Asked an worried Roman who rubbed the host back in comfort. However The host shook his head.
"it's stupid.. I-I don't-" Thomas began but interrupted with sobs. Roman held him close soothing him with an hum. Thomas Hugged him close to his body which Virgil noted that he was trying to keep him there.
Virgil looked up the stairs where he knew Patton was, maybe it was that Thomas was touch starved lately? He turned around and saw roman kiss Thomas forehead as his shaking body slowly stopped and his eyes drooped. Virgil kept staring up the stairs his worry getting to him..
Patton isn't happy, he gets effected by Thomas emotions daily.
"Go." Came an short response and he flashed around to see Logan gesturing up stairs. "Me and roman have it here.. Patton is in need of someone right now."
Virgil ran up the stairs quicker than he ever had before, the worry about his fellow trait fuelled him, he reached the door and knocked.
"Pat... it's me.. angel can you let me in?" He heard an gasp and an sob, his heart twisted in guilt for not being for Patton first. "U-um what do you need I'm an bit bus-" Virgil knocked louder.
" nope don't give me that. I know you mad at me but I need to know that you're okay.," the door swing open and patton stood there but his eye were red and puffy like Thomas and Virgil grabbed him close.
"why would I be mad at you?" Virgil hugged tighter. "I went to Thomas first but I'm supposed to-" he was interrupted by Patton's lips.
"Shhh.. you did what was right.."
Patton eyes were unfocused and seemed to look around.. he had his glasses what's up with his eyes.
"Pat what's up with your eyes?" The said trait froze in his arms and his mouth was gaping thinking of an excuse. But Virgil stood his ground. " bambi please.."
Patton broke out of the hug and he looked away." it's not anything bad but.."
"Patton."
" when Thomas gets upset.. I may or not lose my sight.."
Virgil jumped up "What?!" He grabbed Patton and dragged him out the room and to the top of the stairwell. " and you just tell us now ?! this is bad we need to t-"
"No!" Patton shouted tugging his grip away, he looked like an caught and scared bird and Virgil heart twisted again.
"I..I don't want to make them worry please Virgil.. it goes away." Virgil stared down the stairs where the other two were and then back to his scared blind boyfriend.
"I guess. but you promise to tell me every time this happens right?"
Patton hesitated.
"Patton."
Patton nodded. "Yep I promise.. well I-I'll try."
Virgil smiled and him and Patton both walked back into the bedroom where Patton laid down on the bed. He pulled Virgil down with him.
Virgil heart was racing and he felt his face flush, he and Patton had only recently started dating and they've never laid in bed together.
Patton blinked an an couple of tears fell down his face, Virgil jumped up and wiped away through tears away, his hands revealed Patton's bright smile.
His heart jerking when he saw it blinding and he smiled as well.
"There's my angels smile.." he murmured and Patton giggled. "I didn't know you could be cheesy"
Virgil flushed red hugged into Patton's neck.
Patton giggle was louder now and it could be heard in the living room where an now happy Thomas stood hugging the logical and creative side. Logan looked incredibly embarrassed but sucked it up.
Roman just felt happy to hug into his two most favourite people in the world.
