Soon Patton came an regular in the three mens home, Virgil had fell head over heels over the ex-homeless man, almost to the point it scared him he knew from an young age he liked more than one person and from his teens he knew he was attracted to men however there was something different from what he feels for Logan or Roman, with them he felt nervous and let them take the lead as he saw fit but with Patton he couldn't help but feel in lead.
Virgil knew Roman and Logan his Boyfriends had fallen as well, not as much as Virgil but pretty close, he still giggled at Logan's flustered face every time Patton giggled, Virgil smiled lovingly at the thought or how Roman gets tongue tied when he tries to make an joke flirty or not and Patton only just has to smile.
With Virgil it's everything Patton does, to waking up to the smell of breakfast in the mourning- sweet sugary pancake smell, while sitting in his bed entranced by Patton's singing. Or when Patton sees an dog, small or big and how he treats the thing like an prized possession gentle strokes on the back of its fur and how the animal and Patton get so happy to see each other.
"Is it bad that I've fell so hard?" He asked his boyfriends one day, hugging into Logan's chest while Roman laid on Logan's legs. "No, your not the only one." The smart one added closing his eyes, Roman shuffled." I love him as much as I do you two however..."
His words trailed off." I don't think he'll ever feel that way towards us." Virgil heart sank at the reality of those words it's was okay to fall for someone however it was pure sweet agony when they didn't return it. "Yeah.. pap could do-" Virgil's words died on his tongue as Logan flashed an stern yet upset glare. "Whoever Patton picks to date is his business and he'll be lucky to have them."
Roman placed his head on Logan's shoulder his word muffled." I wish we could be the ones to hold him at night." His grip on Virgil's hand got tighter.
"Be able to kiss him at night or any time we want." Virgil thought about that, Virgil running up to give him quick shy peaks, how he would look away embarrassed as Patton giggled so sweetly.
They were all pinning for the same man.. the man they knew they wouldn't get.

Patton came shuffling in, bags of many were digging and pulling his fingers and he winced as his weak little fingers dropped them. "Oh shoot." He winced checking for any burst contains lucky the milk decided to not die and he sighed in relief.
"Oh hey ro,ro!" He smiled as Roman came walking down the stairs, his steps soon turned into an rush as he walked towards the bags." Ah, my sweet little parde you shouldn't waste your energy carrying heavy bags!" He exclaimed and Patton smiled." Oh my hero!" With that Virgil and Logan came down.
"Ugh, stop showing off." Virgil faked whined and Logan nodded. "Welcome back Patton, had an nice trip?" Patton smiled. " yep yep! But it's always nice to return to my nice warm house then outside." He froze when he said that as memories of sitting outside, believing he'll end up better off dead or that the cold would end up catching up with him also he winced as he realised that he just assumed this is his house. He was about to apologised however Logan cut him to the chase.
"Well it's always nice to return home." Patton blinked and then flashed an weak smile. "Yep."
Soon Patton started making dinner and the other three sat in the living room, waiting soon dinner came and they soon all started to eat.
The night fell and the trio bitted goodnight to Patton as he was slowly falling asleep onto the couch, upstairs the trio got ready to sleep, however when they were hugging they knew something or someone is missing. Virgil sighed and slowly removed Logan's protective arms off his waist and shuffled down stairs wanting some fresh air however he heard some sniffing.
He bolted as quiet as he could to the living room to see that Patton was all huddled up in his blanket and was sobbing deeply, his mouth covered by the cloth, he walked towards him slowly. "Pat?" With that Patton jumped and gasped, his red an puffy staring at Virgil, he sniffed and looked away. "V-Virgil.. what are you doing up." Virgil stared as his body still jumped slightly due to sobs and his heart hurt.
"Couldn't sleep." He had to approach this softly as he didn't want to trap Patton or upset him more. ".. do you want to talk about it ?" He asked almost an whisper and Patton quickly shook his head. "C-can I get an hug.." his grip on the blanket tighten and Virgil chest tighten as Patton was scared of rejection. Virgil walked over to him and hugged him tightly, mostly squeezing his tightly however it seemed to soothe Patton.
He continued to sob on Virgil's shoulder and he could hear silent footsteps and he knew Logan of Roman was up. Patton slowly broke away and whispered." Thank you.." his hands gripped Virgil's t-shirt. "Thank you thank you." He was whispering in Virgil's ear and the door was slightly cracked open.
Logan and Roman watched as their boyfriend and crush was having an emotional moment, Roman could admit that he felt jealous and wanted to comfort the man as well but Logan only shushed him," they need it.. they need this." And that was true Patton thanked him everyday for what he did for him during his times of suffering but they never saw the scars it had left on the man.
Virgil only shushed him, moving his hand on Patton's cheek to wipe away the tears. Patton was glossed over as he stared at Virgil's and soft smile and his chest harden and he slowly reached up. Logan and Roman watched in awe as Their lips Connected, Roman smiled widely as this was proof that Patton did in fact still loved people.
Virgil pressed his lips back as soon as he felt Patton's, the weeks and months of pinning for the man worth it as he now was kissing him, however an voice broke them apart."my kissing in the moonlight how romantic." Patton leaped back his eyes wide and scared. Roman and Logan walked in, smiling however Patton was shaking and looking away not seeing their emotions towards the situation.
"Ro!" Virgil whined blushing looking at his lover then Patton but only gasped slightly when he saw his reaction. "Patton.. patton it's okay." He tried to soothe but Patton was shaking head to toe and moved away from him. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't mean." Roman walked over and placed his arms around Patton's waist who gasped and kissed himself, only an quick peck but that seemed to calm Patton down who's eyes were almost dazed.
"Ro.." Patton started but the words died in his mouth as Virgil kissed his cheek hugging him along with Roman, Patton gasped as he felt strong protective arms wrapped around him and he knew it was Logan. He blushed as he felt so much love radiating of the three men. Logan head rested onto of Patton's and he whispered." We are willing to welcome you.. you can be our missing jigsaw piece."
"If you want." Virgil added not wanting to pressure the man, Patton's eyes grew wide and tears started to flow freely again as he smiled widely.
"Yes!"
