----------------------------------------------
Virgil sat in the ageing treehouse, the woods were wet and close to chipping due to the age and weather, however luckily it decided to stand and let Virgil hide and sulk inside. His parents were right, he unlike Patton or Roman and even Logan, had no right seeing Dr Thomas sanders they had real mental issues that could effect there life he did not. All he had was anxiety and even some days self doubted that fact due to his parents harsh words and judgments. He didn't need to see Dr sanders he was only wasting his time.
Faking it..
"Oh, so you are here." He heard an stern yet kind voice asked and he peered down seeing Dr Thomas sanders face and then Quickly hiding, but he heard the other chuckle. "Too late I saw you," he peered up at the old treehouse with an raised brow. The ladder was missing so he didn't know how Virgil even managed to get up there.
"Patton told me you might me here, says you like the quietness of it." Virgil's heart oddly enough Soared at the fact that Patton had remembered that detail of him and sat huddled in his little spot once more. "I didn't tell him out this treehouse." He finally replied back and he could hear the Doctor smirking. "Yes but there's an big treehouse juts sitting possibly abandoned so I figured.."
Darn.. next time he'll just have to find another place to sulk and hide. "Virgil may you gone down, we have an appointment together." The younger male looking to the ground, he didn't deserve that right didn't need it.
"I.. I'm feeling okay today, talk to Patton or something." He lied cursing at the hesitation in his tone, he heard the Doctor click his tongue in annoyance."I, like you don't approve of lying Virgil." His tone held an once of annoyance and he knew after This he had to apologise to the kind Doctor.
"And I've spoken to them already they are worried about you," the Doctor waited to hear an response from the anxious boy but none came."Virgil? Why won't you talk to me." He started but was interrupted. "Why would they care about me? Worry about me I'm an faker!" That made the doctor stop, they were getting somewhere. "And who told you that? That you're an faker." It had hurt Thomas the first time he found out about Virgil's predicament with his mental illness and his parents utter lack of acknowledgement.
"M-my parents but there right, I'm just faking it milking it I just want attention!" He rambled and Thomas glared at the snow, "you are the last person to seek attention you know that." That struck home with Virgil who could feel himself start shaking "but..-"
"Virgil, I'm very sorry you're parents have made you this way. I truly am." He sat down on the snow not caring if he got his clothes wet. "But I'm here for you and the others, I'll admit anxiety may not be life lasting in some but for others it may never leave." He but his lip trying to word it rightly without hurting the boys feelings. "So your going to 'cure me'?" The words were spat out of his mouth making Thomas cringe.
"No, you don't need 'curing' you Virgil are as perfect as you can be, I'll only be helping you manage your worries and anxiety so they don't consume your life." He remembered telling this to him back when he had first met the anxious male. "Yeah.. sorry." Thomas only shrugged despite the other not being able to see.
"The others also don't need curing, but I do need to check up on them make sure they can ensure this harsh world, you and I both now that." Virgil did know that,Logan Andrews an boy with Autism, who like Virgil was ignored and said he was faking it. Thinking back to it it was still odd on how Logan's parents could say that it was clearly obvious that Logan acted differently from others.
