"We.. we did it!" The newly made fusion cried, it smiled as it looked in the mirror.
"We have to show Logan and Roman!" It's small but cheerful voice cried and it ran out of the bed room but to only trip over the carpet. It knee skinned on the carpet making it have an burn. " oh owie.." it's sniffed but then slowly got it." It's okay it's okay." It walked down the stairs without falling this time." We can make it." It cheered to themselves and walked to the close living door where they knocked.
"Guys? Are you both in there!" He asked and he heard Romans voice call out." Pat? Is something wrong." He heard footsteps to open the door but he quickly shouted." No! Don't open the door." The footsteps stood and he heard Logan's voice this time. "And why is that Patton?" The fusion smiled as he fixed his jumper." We have something to show you!" It giggled and Roman chuckled softly "ah okay." He heard them sitting on the leather couch and the fusion got him self ready.
He slowly opened the door and shouted.
"SURPRISE!!"
Roman face lit up like an light, if he could he would have stars in his eyes, he had his hands covering his mouth and he gasped loudly, Logan was smiling softly and his eyes were wide aswell.
"Patton.. Virgil?" Logan asked softly and Roman finished." Did you fuse?"
The fusion smiled and giggled loudly
"Yep yep!" But then it's face dropped a little." Is that okay?" Roman jumped up" oh,sweetie it's wonderful!" He hugged the fusion, practically lifting them up as they were so tiny and light.
"May we ask your name?" Logan asked and the fusion jumped out of Romans arms and did an little twirl showing out his blue rain jacket" my name is optimism!"
Roman like Patton before was full on sobbing at this point and Logan took an elegant bow to the fusion." Nice to meet you, I am Logan and this is Roman!" Optimism smiled widely
"It's wonderful to meet you!"
They stayed in there fusion for an couple more hours and they could see an blend of Patton and Virgil's personality, he was bright and helpful but easily could go into doubt. In an bad situation, when Roman was playing horror games, he tired to think of all the positives but he ended up afraid and hiding behind the couch.
Logan who was snuggled up into Roman stared at the new fusion as it stared in an childlike wonder out the window as rain was pouring down, he knew rain was an big factor in both of Patton and Virgil's life's as it helps them calm down.
"Do you think they'll want to meet inspiration?" Logan asked and Roman perked up." Only if your wanting too."
Logan nodded and Roman picked up and spin him around and then gently bobbing him down for an kiss, the bright magenta light surrounded them and inspiration was made, he walked up to optimism who hadn't seen the fusion and looked around to gasp.
"Hello, may I sit with you?" The other fusion scooted over and he sat next to him." My name is inspiration, I go by he or him pronouns." He said his elegant voice like smooth chocolate and the other fusion smiled widely. "Hiya there friendo I'm optimism, I go by.. um." They thought for an moment but smiled. "They or them please." Inspiration smiled and nodded.
"It's lovely to meet you." And so together they sat watching the rain as it slowly was dying down and optimism jumped up, he stuck on his wellie boots and looked at inspiration. "Wanna play in the puddles with me?" He shook his head." I'll watch you though."
With that the other fusion ran outside, his heart gleaming with happiness as bounced and splashed around in the puddles, the rain was still coming down hard so he didn't have to worry about other people.
Logan and Roman broke away Logan from behind hugging Roman as they watched the fusion play and laugh.
"I'm glad they learned to trust each other." Logan asked and Roman agreed
"Yeah."
