Wow I haven't wrote in ages! Sorry if this is all over the place since I just really got inspired to write. I wouldn't say this is a big moxiety more into canonverse

Today was stressful, it was the best way to describe all the emotions and events that had happened a hour prior. Logan and Virgil was sat in the living room whilst the rest of the house was surrounded in a tense atmosphere that seemed to choke Virgil.

"Was it really that bad today?" He'd asked Logan only to the other to nod and sip his coffee. "It's always a hurt time to admit when you are in the wrong," he placed down his cup wrapping his fingers around the mug.

"And you know how.." he pursed his lips. "Emotional they both are," that was true Roman and Patton were the most emotional out of them while Virgil and Logan were more inclusive with their emotions.

The anxious side stood up. "We should go see them, we always comfort each other after a hard day." Logan sighed. "That's the rules if it was one of us Patton and roman would be by our sides."

"Yes you are correct there." And with that the two walked upstairs to hear sobbing and quiet hushing. Virgil went to open patton's door when Logan placed his hand over his to remove it from the knob. "I feel we shouldn't enter right now."

"Why-"

He was cut off by roman wailing.

"I'm.. I'm not him Patton I am not please believe me!"

"Of course not Ro,"

Virgil raised a brow but figured he was talking about Remus. It was clear that Roman was very insecure when it came to his brother as the Royal side often used his Royal title to differentiate him from Remus but Virgil knew that Roman truly wanted to believe and find the best way to make sure he was different.

He was of course, despite their differences he will always prefer Roman than Remus.

"I'll go get some hot chocolate that always cheers me up." Patton's chirp was weak and forced but Virgil could imagine Romans grateful smile. The door opened and Patton stopped once he saw Logan and Virgil.

"Oh! Virgil.. Logan.." Patton trailed off once he saw Logan's face while the other was clearly unaffected.
"Patton, Virgil suggested that we should comfort you and roman after today's events. However I don't see the Point due to what happened today being basic facts and information that you as usual ignored."

"Hey Logan stop that wasn't-"

He was interrupted again.

"I know Logan. I just" he turned to look inside the room before slowly closing the door. "Let's give roman some space okay, come join me to make some hot chocolate!" He clasped Virgil's Hand and pulled him away leaving Logan to roll his eyes and walk away.

Virgil Tried to ignore the blush on his face while he looked at their clasped hands. Once they were in the kitchen Patton's big smile dropped and let go of his hand much to Virgil's dismay. "Sorry for interrupting you kiddo it's just me and Logan didn't really agree today and it's just been messy." Patton weakly chuckled only for it to fall flat and for him to grow teary.

"I didn't want to fail. But it seems I'm getting less and less helpful these days." He flicked the kettle setting up the cups. "I keep apologising to Thomas and messing up so much I'm being hurtful rather than helpful."

"Patton, I'm sorry that today was so hurt for you and Roman but I do feel that today was needed. We have to figure out when we are making mistakes and work to better them." He walked over to Patton pulling him close. "I know how it can feel Patton but this doesn't mean we don't love you any less okay?"

Patton just snuggled up to Virgil. The anxious side knew he couldn't talk his way to making the two sides feel better like nothing had happened he knew it was a hard but well needed lesson that Patton had to face and he'd yet to find out what happened to roman.

"What happened to Roman Pat?" He tried the nickname to coast the moral side to answer. "Deceit had told us his name today and Roman made the mistake to laugh at it and neither me or Thomas defended his actions so Deceit.. no Janus had called him to be like Remus."

Virgil winced not even he knew Janus name and he knew they both attacked each other's insecurities so both were clearly hurt.

The kettle clicked and Patton broke away sniffing. "You want to join us for some Disney movies? I think it's best we let go of all those bad emotions and start to move on.. for now." He poured the water into the cups." We can address them later.. right?"

"Yeah sure pat."
