They just had to be stuck in the elevator, they just had to make an terrible anger filed mistake and take the elevator that had just broken down right there.
Virgil looked at Patton who was crossed arms and staring at the door trying his hardest not to show fear but he could see his fingers jittering, Virgil probably didn't look any better. Before they had an argument he couldn't remember what started it but it was during when they were headed to work and they took the elevator because despite the argument he wanted to be there to say goodbye to Patton as he walked into the classroom.
"I guess we're stuck." He said outloud and Patton replied with an hum not answering him, he furrowed his eyebrows and sighed and sat down softly, this wasn't good he was trapped in an small close space with his boyfriend angry at him he felt himself shaking and he knew he had to calm or he was going to end up taking an panic attack or break down.
He inhaled and exhaled as Patton showed him but it wasn't working and he got his breath caught in his throat making him cough, Patton looked over and saw Virgil in mid panic state and quickly strode over bending down, he gently grasped his hands onto Virgil's.
"Breathe Virgil breathe." The other tried but panicked sobs full the air.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for this mourning." Patton only give him an supporting smile "don't be silly you didn't do anything wrong I took it to seriously." He rubbed his hands on his shoulders as he finally started to breathe normally and then after an while he let his head rest on Patton's shoulder as Patton rested his head on his back.
"I shouldn't of walked away from you without warning." Virgil said and Patton only kept the small smile. "Yeah, I got worried I upset you I called you but you weren't replying." The other sighed. "I wasn't mad at you or anything I just.."
"You needed an break and that's fine," he kissed Virgil's head softly. "I know I can be to much sometimes and you need an break." Virgil only kissed him softly and then hugged him again. "No your amazing Patton it's just I didn't wake up all that great toady," Patton snuggled into him.
"It's just.. I'll tell you next time yeah?" Patton nodded and together they waited for the elevator to open up once more.
