I know I'd double update, but wattpad was seriously giving me major problems :') but I think it's finally fixed :)

I might not be able to update until this friday, so here's the 'double update' xx (ten hours later count as a double update doesn't it?)

HARRY

"Harry?" I hear a soft voice call, followed by a string of knocks.

"It's Gemma. Everyone's out and it's just us. Can we talk?" She asks.

I peel my eyes open, silently cursing to myself that everything that's happening wasn't just a nightmare. I turn over to my side, seeing that it's barely 9 in the morning.

I wipe at my face, feeling the dried, crusty skin at the side of my eyes. With a sniffle, I desperately try to rid of the redness in my eyes.

"It's open." I call out, my voice weak, cracking slightly.

The door cracks open and I watch as my sister steps in. She sits before me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "How're you holding up?" She asks softly.

"Fucking peachy. I'm being forced to be apart from the only person I've loved, and now I have to marry this snotty blonde brat. Life's really a fucking huge ball of sunshine." I snap, not intending to sound so rude. Can you really blame me?

I've never felt an emotion quite like this before Niall. Heartache. Niall... somehow, he fixed me. My heart, they were like bricks— crumbled to debris. But he painstakingly picked up each broken piece, only to glue them all back together. And when he helped me rebuild myself, it's like he added a window too, to let the sunshine in.

But now that he's not here with me, looking outside that window, it's nothing but dark, ominous skies and thunderous clouds. Or worse, a tornado approaching in the distance, ready to blow and tumble these bricks back down.

She sighs, nodding as she rubs my shoulder reassuringly.

"Well, one good news is mum has woken up." She tells me with a bright smile.

My body perks up at her words. I say a quick prayer in thanks to the heavens for keeping my mother safe and healthy. That's one weight lifted off my shoulders.

"Mum's awake? From the mild comma?" I ask, feeling slightly better. "Since when?"

"About two mornings ago. After lots of convincing, I told the hospital not to tell dad. So you're the first to know." Her smile widens by a tad. And for the first time since this past week, I'm smiling. It's a small smile, but it's a smile nonetheless.

"And what do you mean a mild comma? She wasn't in one. Just unconscious. It wasn't anything life threatening. I thought you knew that." Gemma tells me.

I frown at her words. "Dad said she..." I trail off, stopping myself when realisation finally settles within me, my frown deepening.

He lied. Of course he would do something like that. Of course he'd want to fake the condition of his own hospitalised wife just to get what he wants. Of course. Why am I still so shocked by his actions?

"Never mind." I mumble.

"I'm really sorry about him him." She rubs my shoulder slightly.

"It's.. whatever." I sigh.

"Anyway, have you seen mum recently?" She asks.

I shake my head. "Last I saw her was about a week ago." I tell her.
