DEAR JOURNAL,
chika isn't the only corporate daughter to attend this school. in fact, there's also mari rao and ariba rao, both having talents in correlation with the multimillionaire company their family presumably owns.
that might seem like a weird tidbit of information to put in here, but i'm only saying this because today, ariba took the liberty of "adopting" me in her "family", aka her group of friends who also work for the rao company. which was great, i guess. ariba's really motherly and protective. mari on the other hand, is a little more dynamic.
there's mamoru. big guy. he's silent, you know the strong, silent type? but pretty nice. he pat me on the head. and then, there's nyx. he's pretty quiet and grumpy, in some way, he reminds me of myself. we didn't talk much but he seems to be okay with me.
it's only been the second day and i'm actually gaining friends! maneki was really happy about that. for the first time, people actually found me interesting enough to talk to. and even more surprising, i actually felt...proud.
i hope okaasan sees this.
