DEAR JOURNAL,
okay, so i don't know how it happened, but takete went from calling my hair a mop head to being all buddy-buddy with me. i suspect chiyoe told him to be nice. anyway, he introduced his friends to me.
first was chiyoe, who i already know and fairly acquainted with. there's daiki, the guy i saw arguing with him last week. and chika, who i know, of course. i didn't exactly know how to talk to them, but luckily, watari seemed to be close with them, so he pretty much translated all my anxiety talk for me.
and then i met neesan's new best friend, a girl named mirai. she was fairly friendly, though she openly spoke about gluing her former bully to a bench with a cheerful smile, which unnerved me a little. i honestly hope i don't get on her bad side.
along with mirai was akira, who was actually chie's twin brother. though i've seen him around, i never actually got to talking to him. he and mirai are dating—i suppose akira balances out mirai's wilder personality. he's a cool guy.
more friends today? this is a new record.
