DEAR JOURNAL,
it's the dance tonight! i can't believe the day's finally here...
i'm excited, to be honest. dad's suit was ironed and hung on the closet door's knob. i even went out and bought myself a small bottle of cologne and a tube of hair gel.
neesan is also really excited, even more than me. she's been holding her dress to her chest and spinning around in circles in our room, humming whistly renditions of top chart songs.
well, i'd write more, but it's already approaching 6:00 pm, and we have to be there at least by 7:00 pm. i have to get ready now! i'll update this later, wish me luck!
