DEAR JOURNAL,

as usual, i looked into my locker and saw an actual envelope, sealed with a paper heart. i opened the envelope, fishing out a note in fancy paper.

i picked the note up and held it up to my face, smelling a slight trace of lavender.

scented paper, huh? gray outdid themselves this time. this letter had to be one of the most extra (yet sweet, i'll give them that) ones yet.

beloved hiro,
ah, i yearn to murmur into your ear about how much i love you.
your beauty makes the roses hide in shame. do you know how happy you make me? how you light up my world and give it sunshine? do you know how your smile makes flowers grow?

mon amour, i don't need the sun when i have you.

love, gray.

i couldn't help it, i blushed and let out a chuckle. i honestly couldn't believe that someone would put that much effort into writing to me.

this lifted my spirits. it was nice that someone thought i was sunshine.

to think i light up someone's world when my own is dark is baffling.

LOVE, HIRO.
