It is a year after Dudley was born. Daisy is now in grade four and is nine years old. She and Isabella have been best friends for over a year now and things have been going well for Daisy at home and at school. Her father has been praising her more and she has made plenty more friends at school.
The day started as any other normal morning. Waking up to Dudley's crying, quickly eating some toast, her dad leaving for work and rushing her mom so that she will not be late for school.
When she got out of the car, after kissing her mother and brother goodbye, she immediately ran inside. Now that she was in the fourth grade, she had more subjects and had her own personal cubicle.
She opened the red cubicle open and began pulling out all the books she would need until first break.
She checked her watch and saw it was ten minutes to eight.
'That's weird,' she thought. 'Normally, she would be here super ear-'
"BOO!"
"Ahhh!" Daisy shrieked, as a voice yell din her ear. She whipped around and came face-to-face with her best friend, of three years.
"Izzy!" she playfully whacked her arm. Isabella didn't notice as she was too busy wiping at the tears of laughter coming from her eyes.
"Sorry, Flower. Just couldn't resist," Isabella says, leaning against the cubicle next to Daisy.
Daisy rolled her eyes, but a small smile on her lips told Izzy that she wasn't actually mad with her.
"Ready for class?" Isabella asked when Daisy closed her locker. Daisy hummed and she took that as a yes. She hooked her arm through Daisy's and together they walked to their next class, talking and chatting excitedly. Not aware to the dozens of owls flying high in the sky.

"Bye Izzy!" Daisy's shouted as she got into the back of her mother's car. Today had been a good day for her and she couldn't wait to go home and read this new book she got from the library.
She ran into the house and up into her room. It was now two o'clock, so she had a few hours till supper and till her dad arrives. She drops her bag into her room then ran back down to the kitchen to get a quick snack before beginning to do her homework.
After two worksheets of Maths and one page of English, she was finally done. She leaned back into her chair.
'Finally,' she thought, releasing a sigh, 'done. Time for some relaxing.' With that thought, she reached a hand into her bag and grabbed her book.
The book she got out was called, Malory Towers. It was about a girl, called Daren Rivers, who begins her first year at Malory Towers, a castle-like clifftop boarding school in Cornwall. It goes on about all her adventures during her school year.
Daisy fell in love with the book, not to mention managed to finished the book in an hour, and was sure she would get the second book of the series tomorrow.
After finishing the book, she decided to do some drawing. Earlier on she had been drawing a picture of a horse drawn carriage and decided to finish it.
"Daisy! Come down, supper is ready," her mother's voice rang from downstairs.
"Coming!" She yelled back and raced down the stairs, after making sure her picture was safely served into her folder. Just in time to see her father open the door to the house.
"Hello, little Daisy," he shouted and opened up his arms for a hug. Daisy ran, smiling, into her father's arms before quickly bolting to the kitchen.
"I'll help!" She squealed and took the plates from her mother and laid the table. Her mother laughed a little as she watched her little girl run around comically.
"Sweetie, please go and get your brother from the room where the telly is," her mother said.
Daisy nodded and walked into the rooms and found her little brother... Surrounded in an absolute mess. It looked like her had a temper tantrum-which was probably true--the pillows were lying everywhere, some sort of orange food was splattered on the walls and some of the fluff that were in the pillows, are now lying all over the room.
I cautiously walk to Dudley and pick him up.
"And what happened here, mister?" I ask him while tickling his belly. Dudley laughs and shrieks at me to stop. I walk with him on my hip to the kitchen and set him on his high chair, oblivious to the conversation that is happening outside.

After eating dinner, Daisy gets dress and go and greet everyone goodnight. As she was walking to the living room, where her parents would most likely be, they have managed to put Dudley asleep earlier on already, the doorbell rings.
Daisy stops and looks through the peephole.
'Hmm... No one seems to be there. And why does the street lights look so dark?'
She opens the door and looks around. She can hear my mother's footsteps coming down the corridor.
"Daisy! You shouldn't open about the door when it's so dark! You never know what or who could be out there-"
Before she could finish scolding Daisy, they both stop and hear a soft cry. A soft baby's cry.
That's when Daisy looks down. There lying on the Dursleys' doorstep was a woven basket with a baby lying in it.
'Whose baby is this?'
