Basically just a filler-in short chapter.

Harry was a very quiet baby. He didn't cry or scream like Dudley did when he wanted attention. He would just let out quiet adorable sounds and wave his arms around.

But that was just the calm before the storm.

A few days, after Harry arrived, the first nightmare began. It started off as a nice dream. He was sitting on a carpet in his old living room, which he could remember vaguely. Everything was too blurry for him to make out actual objects or faces.

Everything was peaceful and calm. There was a dimly lit fire in the corner of the room, the atmosphere was warm and loving.

Very different then what he has been receiving for the past few days. The Dursleys' house was warm, but the cupboard was cold. Also, he only had a few blankets.

A figure came into the room. Harry tried to make out the face, but it was too blurry for him.

Everything seemed to be perfect in this dream. It had an atmosphere of loving and caring.

Maybe a little too perfect...

A second later, a bright green light flashed before his eyes. It was very bright and when it finally dialed down, another figure was standing in front of him.

This one was very different than the last.

This one was cold and cruel. Harry didn't need to be able to see his face, to know that it was a monster he was looking at.

The monster grinned wickedly at him, showing razor-sharp teeth. Harry felt restless in his sleep and was now turning around in the cot.

The monster then lunged straight at him.

Harry sat straight up in his bed. He was crying loudly and screaming for someone. He wanted his Mum or Dad or Daisy.

Upstairs in the Master bedroom, Petunia Dursley had let out of her bed and ran straight to Dudley's bedroom, thinking it was him who was crying, but when she got there, Dudley was sleeping safe and sound. That's when she realized who it was- Harry.

Petunia sighed when she heard the crying become louder, she walked over to her daughter's room and knocked on the door.

Not even bothering on waiting for a response, she opened the door and whispered harshly, "Go downstairs and quiet him down, before Dudley wakes up."

Daisy was barely registering what her mother was saying to her. But when she was finally awake she heard the crying.

She sat straight up. 'Harry.'

She jumped out of her bed, shoved her feet into a pair of slippers, pulled a robe on her and rushed past her mother.

She thumped down the stairs. She was squinting her brown eyes, trying to adjust to the harsh light coming from the corridor.

She opened the door and whispered, "Harry?"

She first thought her mother might have been wrong, it seemed quiet in the cupboard. Then she heard sniffling and whimpers which broke her heart.

"Hey bud, it's only me," Daisy cooed to Harry. Harry crawled out from under his pile of blankets and over to Daisy.

Daisy picked him gently up and sat down in the cot, leaving the door ajar open to let a little light in.

She sat crossed legs in the small cot and put Harry on her lap.

He's chubby tear-stained cheeks (A/n: I have no idea if I spelt cheeks the correct way) nuzzled its way to her chest. His tiny hands were fisted and gripping Daisy's sweater.

Daisy rubbed Harry's back as he cried and whimpered into his chest.

"Shh," Daisy whispered to Harry. She let him cry for a while, before she gently lifted his head up.

"Hey bud, what's wrong?" She whispered to him. He just shook his head and buried his face back into her chest.

"Nightmare?" She rested her chin on top of his head. He nodded his head and his grip started to loosen.

"Don't worry, it was just a nightmare. Everything's going to be fine," she rubbed his back and whispered soothing words to him. He didn't budge.

'Time to try another approach.'

She started humming a lullaby that her mom had taught her. She rocks him back and forth, singing the lullaby softly for him. Soon, Harry's grip had completely loosened and he was softly snoring in her lap.

She smiled and payed him down on the cot. She pulled his blanket snugly over him and kissed him on the forehead.

After one last look, she closed the cupboard door and yawned tiredly.

'Time, to get some shut eye,' was her last thought before falling asleep.

To say that this was a one-time thing would be wrong. Most nights, he was fine and then others he was not.

He would cry and wail in his sleep, most of the time waking everyone in the house up.

To avoid all the questions about why Dudley was crying so much from her neighbour's, she decided to leave Harry's door open and put a small light in the corridor. It was still mostly dark but Harry could now wake up and try to walk up the steps to get to Daisy's room.

It was a lot to ask of for a one and a half year old, especially since all the doors looked the same to him. He learned his lesson, when he accidentally went into Petunia and Vernon's room instead of Daisy's... They were not happy and threw him out of the room immediately.

He ended up being too scared, that night, to walk around any longer and ended up passing out on the corridor floor. From that night on, Daisy made sure to leave her room door a little open and she decorated her door with a letter D.

She made the letter 'D' from cardboard, cut it out and painted it in glitter and blue.

Harry soon knew which way he should go for the comfort he needed, and could find his way to the room even without the sign.
