The room was oddly silent. Keith and Lance were determined to finish there work. It was almost like a silent competition to see who had the talent to complete there tasks fastest. Lance normally played music out loud, but for some odd reason he had his head phones in. Keith had soft classical music coming from his laptop. He moved his pinky along with the tune, enjoying the soothing feeling he got while listening.

Lance suddenly took off his headphones and glared at the back of Keith's neck. It wasn't like he had anything to be mad at him about, but something urged him to annoy his roommate.

"You are so weird." Lance commented, looking back down at his text book.

Keith swiveled around in his chair. He cocked his head to the side and looked at Lance.

"What?" he jeered.

"You're weird. You heard me." Lance smirked.

"Dude, where did that even come from?"

Lance shrugged.

"Just saying. I mean, who even listens to classical music anymore? Oh, and you have your nose stuck in a book allll the time. What even bro."

Keiths lips parted in disbelief.

"You're fucking kidding right? Are you literally calling me a nerd?"

"No, i never said that. But if that's the label you want~" Lance looked back at his book, smirking to himself.

He knew he had gotten under Keiths skin. Keith shook his head and scoffed.

"Lance you graduated with 4.0 GPA, along with that you totally brought like 3 books home from the library yesterday. Not once have you complained about my classical music, you have actually enjoyed it," Keith began "You're also in like 3 different advanced classes! And you want to call me a nerd?"

Lance continued to stare at his book. Fuck. I did not plan that out did I? He thought. Lance remained quiet causing Keith to smirk. He had won.

"How do you know I graduated with a 4.0?!" Lance suddenly exclaimed, astonished.

Keith chuckled and motioned to his diploma on the wall. Lance huffed and looked away. They returned to there work; Keith put the volume up on his laptop, simply to see Lances reaction. Which, in the end, was just a sigh and then the rocking of Lances head. Keith smirked to himself and began to wrap up his essay for Literature Class.

Later that evening as the boys got ready for bed, there was a knock at the door. Lane and Keith looked at each other in confusion. Both boys creeped to the door, Lance hanging back and keeping himself in arms reach of his baseball bat. It wasn't like they were scared, but with rumors about some man creeping campus and breaking into peoples dorms, they couldn't take there chances.

Keith was the one to open the door. He took a peek out and gasped, suddenly swinging the door open. Lance looked over his roommates shoulder to see a boy about 5'3 with short light brown hair and brown eyes.

"Katie!" Keith suddenly yelled, wrapping the smaller human in a tight embrace.

Not a boy, not a boy, i repeat not a m a l e. Lance yelled at himself in his mind.  Keith finally let go of the girl.

"Keith!" she grinned.

"Come in! What are you doing here?!" he questioned.

Lance suddenly felt exposed. He was shirtless and only had boxers on. It wasn't that he felt exposed because of the presence of a young girl, it was because she looked intimidating and the fact she didn't even give one glance at him made him feel unworthy and vulnerable. He rushed to at least put a shirt on. His back was turned when suddenly he heard someone coo.
