"Heading out." Lance said, grabbing his jacket.

"Where? It's Thursday night." Keith asked, looking up from his book.

"So? I'm gonna go to a party." Lance shrugged, patting himself down to make sure he hadnt forgotten anything.

"Dont you have a class tomorrow?" Keith asked, once again.

"Okay, mom," Lance said in annoyance "how the hell do you know I have a class tomorrow?"

Keith looked back at his book and nudged his head to the left. On the wall, Lance had circled in red 'Advanced Math'. Lance rolled his eyes.

"So? I can still have a little fun before my class," he shrugged "I'm gonna find me my soul mate."

Keiths head snapped up. Lance had a cheeky grin on his face as he grabbed his keys.

"How the hell are you gonna do that?! That's the most difficult thing anyone does in there life!" Keith exclaimed.

Lance raised an eyebrow at his roommate.

"Who cares, Mullet. You worry too much. Plus, why do you care?"

Keith went silent. His eyes fell back down to his book.

"Just saying, its impossible McClain." Keith said under his breath.

Lance rolled his eyes.

"Bye, Mullet." He yelled before leaving and slamming the door shut behind him.

Keith flinched as the door slammed. Damn, he really hated that kid. He was loud and messy, always having some snarky remark to things. The room almost always smelt like Old Spice and everytime Keith got back from work, Lance was blaring music.

Stupid McClain, Keith thought Always so loud and annoying. He thinks he's just better then everyone. Keith shook his head and sighed. He reached over to his bed side table and grabbed his book mark. It was more a locket then a book mark, but he enjoyed keeping his two favorite things together. He opened the locket and smiled, then shut it and used it to save his place in his Shakespeare tragedy.

Now with Lance as a roommate, studying had become harder and so had leaving the room whenever he wanted. Keith usually left his dorm during the night, but he had learned Lance was a light sleeper. The hard way of course.

He grabbed his backpack, slipped on his fingerless gloves, put on his black and red hoodie, and left the room. (Shutting the lights off behind him of course).

Regular students who hung out with their doors open, whispered as Keith walked by. He was unknown and odd to them. Despite the others gossipy attitudes, he made it to the elevator. After hitting the button several times, the door finally opened ans welcomed him in. As the doors closed he rolled his sleeves up a bit and sighed. There was his mark. An infinity sign.

Lance had a pounding headache and the sudden feeling of wanting to throw up every time he moved. If this is what a periods like, I don't want it Lance thought to himself. If his sister heard him say that, she would go off on him about how painful periods are and that nothing exceeds that pain.

His teacher just rambled on and on. X's and Y's, A's and B's. Numbers, numbers, numbers. His numerical dyslexia didn't help either. Numbers and words, all swimming together to form his own personal hell.

"And that's all for this lesson, remember to read the next two lessons and to write and solve these math equations-" The Teacher said very loudly.

Lance was sure the teacher said some more homework related stuff, but he'd just ask his friend Matt for this classes notes.
