Chapter 43
Sherlock fidgeted on the couch soon after Molly left.
She had taken the note down, so when he woke from a nightmare of Molly being kidnapped and dying in his arms, he was desperate to find her. "Molly? Molly?" He ran throughout the flat before rushing downstairs, very near to calling Greg.
"Mrs. Hudson, have you seen Molly? Where is she?"
"She's in here, just-"
"Sherlock?" Molly walked in and he rushed over to her, making her disappear within the folds of his robe. "What's the matter?"
He held her as tightly as he could, then recalled that he had been dreaming. "A bad dream. Why are you down here?"
"Mrs. Hudson invited us for supper, but you were asleep and I didn't want to bother you."
"Don't worry about that. I always want to know exactly where you are."
She chuckled. "Relax, I'm not in any danger."
"You're constantly in danger; you're involved with me."
She smiled and sat down. "Now that you're here, would you like to join us?"
He shook his head. "No, I'm not hungry."
"I'm heading to the work."
"You're going to be late."
"You're the one who kept me." Molly smiled and picked up her purse.
"Get an arm for me while you're there, perferably O positive blood type."
She raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
"An experiment, of course. I need an elbow."
She nodded slowly. "Okay...I'll see what I can do." She walked downstairs and out the door. Sherlock stood and watched her get into the cab before jumping over the chair that sat by the desk and walking over to his coat and scarf.
He walked out and hailed a cab. He needed to see his parents.
