I just walked in to find you here with that sad

Josette froze. She coulden't get a word out. He was here right in front of her. The ghost of her past. She haden't thought for one second that he would come and yet he was here. For her. Charlie had been right Tony had come. Josette didn't like it at all. At least that was what she told herself but she coulden't quite ignore a little happy feeling that had seeped in when she saw Tony standing there in the hotel lobby.

"Hello Josette. Long time no see", Tony Stark the worlds biggest jackass said to her. Josette couldent belive him. They meet for the first time in seven years ,not to mention that she had belived they would never meet again, hoped they woulden't and all he says is ,long time no see, she couldent belive him she really couldent.

Josette turned her gaze to Pepper ,who was all smiles, and happiness. Not acknowledging Tony. The second Josette had seen him she knew that Pepper had told him. She felt sligtly betrayed by her but Josette didn't hold it against Pepper. She knew the PA just ,wanted the best for both Tony and herself, she couldent blame her for that. Josette had even guessed that if she invited Pepper there would be a big risk that the PA would invite her boss. Or rather Charlie had.

But she had still hoped and prayed he woulden't come, belived he wouldent come. Why should he? they haden't exacly parted on good terms and when he coulden't find her. A thing she prided herself on. Josette had tought he'd given up. Like he always did when it come to her.

Josette swallowed. And a sudden sadness came over her. Why oh why did he still have that effect on her? to make her care about what he did or didn't do to her. Besides he had never botherd to come to any event that was connected with her. So why now?

Josette slowly felt the doubt setting in. What if he wasen't here for her wedding. What if he is just here to drop Pepper off. Hurt mixed with relief washed over her at the thought. Of course he wasen't here for her the whole idea was ridiculus. But why come all the way to the hotel? if he was just here to drop Pepper off. Besides why would Pepper need someone to drop her off she was a grown woman. A little voice in her head asked.

Josette knew the voice in her head was proberly right. it was the logical answer. She should belive it. However her heart coulden't. It kept wispering that it wasen't true. Reminding her of all the times he'd let her down. No she thought he coulden't still have this effect on her. She was past this, she had been past this years ago. She wasen't a little girl anymore waiting to get love, respect and recognition from Tony. She was over that. And she didn't want Tony Stark at her wedding.

So many emotions were batteling inside Josette. disbelief, sadness, remembrance, anger, hurt, fear and a tiny bit of hope that Josette wanted to crush. She woulden't give in this time. She refused to be like a doll witch were only picked up when the owner felt like it.

"You know usually when someone says hi you say it back.", Tony said unable to keep quiet anymore. But Josette coulden't say it back she coulden't even form a sentince. She was frozen. So she did the only thing she could, she ran.
