I was choking in the crowd living my brain up in the cloud

falling like ashes to the ground hopeing my feelings

they would drown

but they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing

inhibited, limited till it broke up and it rained down

it rained down, like...

pain!

you made me a, you made me a believer, believer

pain!

you break me down, you build me up, believer, believer

pain!

I let the bullets fly , oh let them rain

my luck, my love, my god, they all came from...

pain!

you made me a, you made me a believer, believer.

Imagine dragons "Believer"

"Josette Stark to the emergency room", the speaker said "I repeat Josette Stark to the emergency room", it said just as a brunet was rolled that way. She was unconsious and was bleeding a considerable amount from her head. Not to mention that she had bruises all over her body.

A redhead near by saw the brunet being taken into the emergency room. She wiped her eyes trying to stop her tears from floweing, but to no avail, they just kept comming.  Soon the woman gave up trying to dry her eyes and just cried. She continued this for a while obviously being trapped inside her own head. You didn't need to be a mind reader to figure out who it was she was thinking about. Josette, Josette Stark. Who had just gotten to the hospital and into the emergency room. Pepper continued to cry her heart out. She had called an ambulance as soon as the accident happened. The ambulance had came pretty fast but Josette her little girl  had already lost a lot of blood when they came. And now that she was at the hospital it was still doubtfull if she would survive.

Pepper put her head in her hands and continued to let the tears run down her face. For the first time in years she'd met her daughter again. And now she was at the hospital waiting for news of the girls survival. This wasn't happening... this couldn't be happening. They'd only just been shopping, catching up after such a long time. Josette couldn't be in the emergency room she just couldn't. She was meant to be working at the hotel, planning her wedding and mabye start to forgive Tony. Although she wasn't so sure that Josette would actually do the last one anymore not after what Tony had told her about how she reacted when he told her about why he was here in the first place.

As on que the hospital door was pulled open and the genius himself walked in. Actually looking anxious for the first time in his life. "Where is my daughter?", the billionare asked a passing nurse. With a slight quiver in his voice.

the nurse looked at him with chock. "Aren't you...", She slowly trailed of causing Tony to get even more nervous than he already was. "Yeah, yeah I'm Tony Stark the Iron man.", he said a bit agitated that the nurse didn't answer his question. His kid was somewhere in this building possibly dieing and this woman was acting like him being Tony Stark was more important than Josette. It drowe him nuts. "Sorry I only do authographs on mondays", he added when it looked like she might say something else about him being at the hospital. She was a nurse for gods sake she was supposed to answer questions about patients not asking questions about him.

The nurse laughed and batted her eyelashes flirtatiously at him. "Your funny", She sighed. "Yeah I know. Listen...", he started but before he could get anywhere the nurse cut him of again. "Is it very hard defending the world from bad-guys?", She asked obviously trying to stroke his ego. And it probably would have worked under different circumstances but now it just made him annoyed. He needed her to stop flirting with him and give him a straight answer about where Josette was!

"Do you know where a patient ,Josette Stark, is?", he asked trying his best not to sound as agitated as he was feeling.

"No", the nurse purred. Still acting like an idiot. "So... why are you here?", She asked and bit her lip. "I'm here because of my daughter", Tony almost growled at her. You know the one that I'm trying to locate! "Oh", the nurse exclaimed sounding more than a bit disapointed. "I would love to meet her", She continued and somehow managed to make that line sound flirty and endearing. He'd had enough. "And I would love to know where she is?", Tony said and this time it did came out as a growl. The nurse looked hurt beyond belief at his words and Tony had to supress the urge to shake her. "And how would I know", she said rudely. "She's not my kid!", the nurse exclaimed.

"But she is your job!", He yelled at her. And for the first time in their conversation the nurse seemed to get that something was wrong. "Wait", She said confused. "She's here as... as a... patient?", Tony rolled his eyes. How daft was this woman? Actually never mind, he didn't want to know. "Now your getting the hang of this!", he responded.

a silver flash in the corner of her eye, the car, pain, more pain, a noise of something driveing away, a scream, someone lifting her up, darkness, a room and darkness again.

Josette had been going in and out of consciousness untill they'd reached the hospital. Where she finally blacked out for good. Trapping herself inside her own head makeing her relive the event over and over again.

Josette didn't notice the car before it was too late. She should have noticed it. Should have moved away in time. But she didn't. And now she was sprawled on the ground like a ragdoll fighteing the overwhelming pain in her ribs and head. She was sure that she'd broken something. Josette tryed to move but couldn't it was like her body had stopped responding to her. She felt herself slipping into unconsiousness. No, no she thought. She had to stay awake, she had to continue fighteing or else... she'd be done for.

She heard the car door open. And a man stepped out. She could just see the outline of him. Everything else was blurry from the pain. It sounded like he said something to Pepper before he bent down infront of her. However the sun was in her eyes so she couldn't properly see his face. And for some reason she guessed that he wanted it that way. But she could make out one thing... his eyes they were big, brown and calm the kind of eyes that should make someone feel safe. But for some reason she didn't she felt scared. Every nerv in her body was shouting at her to move to get away from this stranger to get away from the danger.

The stranger moved his hand to her ribs. Josette tryed to move away, her panic riseing, but with her ribs broken and her head already feeling blurry from both the pain and blood-loss she only shifted an inch. It felt like someone had just hit her with a hammer. She whimpered. The stranger gave a strangled laugh at her pain and hit her in the ribs. She screamed. That felt a thousand times worse than being hit by a hammer it felt like she was breaking to pieces slowly and painfully. The stranger laughed again but you couldn't hear it over her scream.

He bent down to whisper something in her ear. Josette tryed to get away again but he held her in place so she didn't have any other choise but to listen. "Your not getting away from this one Stark", Thouse were the last words she heard before she finally passed out.
