A/N:

Hey guys! So I know that I haven't made any author's notes yet, but I just wanted to make a public service announcement by saying that this book only has a few more chapters to go until the end! This has been such an amazing first piece of writing of mine, as I've absolutely LOVED writing it! However, I do wish to grow and expand in my writing abilities, so I am very pleased to announce that I will be starting a new book! I think I have an idea for the title, but nothing is confirmed yet!:) Don't worry, it will be just as cheesy and cute like this one, but it's a little longer. I am beginning the writing process ASAP, because I already have a solid plotline established! Can't wait for you guys to read it! xoxox JS.

I slammed the door behind me, not being able to suppress the damage that Wes has done to me anymore. I reach for my phone, as I realize that I had left it in my bedroom before going for my walk.

43 unread messages, 12 missed calls.

All from one person.

Wes.

My heart races, as the sight of his name popping up on my phone screen, is too much to handle right now. I hurl my phone at my bed, screaming in frustration.

How could he do this to me? I really thought he loved me.

I exhale slowly, deciding that a nice hot shower is exactly what I need to clear my mind from Wes. I sighed as my tears mixed with the hot water, slowly soothing my aching body. I got out, wrapping a towel around me, and I sauntered back into my room.

I kept finding my eyes wandering back to my phone.

Should I read what he has to say? Should I even bother acknowledging him? Should I push him away?

Going against my better judgment, I reach for my phone, opening all of my new messages.

Ley, did you hear what I said? - W.

Please! Explain to me? What were you talking about? - W.

I scoffed. How could he not know what I was talking about, he wrote that note.

Seriously Ley. Please talk to me. I didn't write any note, what did it say? -W.

Suddenly, I was hit with a massive wave of confusion. What did he mean he didn't write the note? It was from him. I mean, unless......

I sat up, reaching for my 'Get Well' cards, suddenly feeling a strong urge to search through. I skimmed through every card, my eyes racing over every word.

But then I stop.

I freeze.

One card stands out. The last one.

I gasp as I realize the card had the exact same writing as the note that Wes left me.

Only, the card wasn't from Wes.

It was from my mom.
