My Brother's Wedding

Chapter-8

After dinner, Tulip and Alex were standing in the garden,
"Thank you" said Alex.
"For what?" asked Tulip.
"For saving all of us today"
"But I didn't do anything".
"No, you helped a lot... If you would not have been there, Chelsea would have been sick"
"But that was just my duty"
"And you completed your duty very nicely" said Alex.
"Thank you" Tulip blushed.
"You know what, you will become a perfect mother..." Alex said complementing.
"Thank you... it really is a very beautiful complement"
He looked at her and wished that she would become the perfect mother of his children.

"Tulip....we want you and Alex to come and do some story telling for me and Joseph" Chelsea demanded.
"Yes, we are bored of the same story teller telling us story every day" complained Joseph.
Both Tulip and Alex laughed,
"Please Tulip do this favor on me. I am tired of telling them stories everyday" requested Skipper.
"We will also hear stories, right Venesa?" asked Veronica.
"Yeah, it will be fun" answered Venesa excitedly.
"Okay so, we all will hear you, and Alex telling stories tonight, and then we will judge who was the best" said Veronica.
"Yeah... that will be good" said Skipper.
"Hurray... we will have fun!" said Chelsea.
"But..." objects Tulip.
"Yes we will... Tulip, I hope you don't have any problem..." Alex said.
Tulip looked at the happy faces of everyone and finally agreed,
"Okay, let's go"

They all went to Chelsea, Joseph and Skipper's room. It was a large room with one large bed and two small beds in the corners. Venesa and Veronica went on one of the small beds which looked slightly big than the other small bed, Skipper went to the other smaller bed.
"Where will we sit?" asked Tulip.
"Here..." said Chelsea pulling Tulip on one side and Alex on the other side of the big bed.
Chelsea and Joseph sat in the middle of the big bed, in between Tulip and Alex.
"Okay, Tulip... read this book" said Chelsea.
"Okay..." Tulip said smiling.
She started reading the story, Alex looked at Tulip while she read the story. He imagined him and Tulip as the characters of the story; where Tulip was the heroine and he was the hero.
After an hour, the story ended and Tulip looked at everyone. Skipper, Venesa and Veronica were already asleep.
"Is anyone up yet?" Tulip whispered.
"Yes...we are still up" said Joseph.
"We haven't slept yet" said Chelsea.
"Oh! You guys didn't sleep yet?" asked Tulip surprisingly.
"I am also up" said Alex.
"Okay, so since we are still up, I think it's time for another story" said Chelsea. Tulip yawned and said,
"Okay..." she was tired.
"I think I will read the story this time, You must be tired... Tulip" said Alex.
"Sure..." said Tulip.
This time, the story ended shortly, Alex looked towards the kids, They were asleep, Alex sighed.
"Tulip... they finally slept" whispered Alex but
There was no reply. He got up and saw that Tulip was also asleep.
He stared at Tulip's face for a few minutes and then pulled the blanket till her neck. He stared walking back to the other side of the bed, but he turned back again, He wished to sleep near Tulip,
"God! She is adorable..." he thought and smiled.
He kissed her forehead gently and went to his side of the bed.

The next morning, Tulip woke up and realized that she had slept in the room of Joseph and Chelsea itslef. She quickly got up and found that Venesa and Veronica were already up,
"Good morning Tulip" they said smiling.
"Good morning" Tulip smiled.
Tulip went towards the washroom. Till the time she came back, Alex was also up,
"Good morning" he said.
"Good morning" she replied.
Tulip looked at the clock, it was already nine in the morning,
"I think I should go downstairs, everyone must be looking for me" said Tulip and turned back.
Alex suddenly held Tulip's arm, leaving her and the others surprised.
"Will you accompany me for a coffee and some outing today?" asked Alex.
"Umm....actually I am not free today" said Tulip.
"How about tomorrow?"
"I will inform you when I will be free, these days I am really busy with the theme decorations"
"Okay, no problem" Alex's face showed disappointment.

"You know what, Tulip will soon be going to India" Veronica tips Alex as Tulip went outside the room.
"But why?" asked Alex.
"It's because there is a festival in India and she wanted to see her family as well. She told that maybe she would go to attend the festival and meet her family" said Veronica.
"For how long? Did she tell you?" asked Alex.
"Yes, she said maybe for fifteen or twenty days" replied Veronica.
Alex got really upset after hearing that. He thought that maybe Tulip was still upset from that day when he left her and went to USA.
