Reality

"Hmm.... We were enjoying soo much!
A campfire, a boat ride....it was soo fun. In the end we heard some noise and fell down from a fall. As soon as I hit water, everything blacked out.
In this way, my dream ends.

But wait, why is this dream soo painful?
Oh haa!
Ofcourse it will hurt. Because this is not a dream."

Vedha opened her eyes. She was laying on a height. She felt something harsh against her face. The blurry images were getting clear. First thing she saw was water flowing next to her and bushes surrounding her.

Her eyes closed, but she again opened them just to figure out where she was. She turned her body a little but winced in pain.

She was trying to get up but failed. She tried again, but her body didn't move. She tried to move her hands and brought her right arm up next to her face.
There were no fingers.......or atleast that's what she felt as she tried to move them. Her palm and wrist was covered in blood.
Whose blood? She didn't knew.

Vedha was groaning for few seconds. And finally got up. Her hands had a burning sensation as she put pressure on them. Several small cuts were present. Finally, when she gained proper consciousness she understood that she was laying on a log of wood in a awkward position. As she tried to move, she fell down which made her unconscious.again.

Siddharth was the first to wake up. First he was just sitting down with his head in his hands. He removed his leather jacket which was making him uncomfortable as hell and wiped off the mud from his face with the help of sleeves. Then he woke up Akshay who was beside him.Both were staring around them.

Akshay and Sid then woke up Ethan, Sapna, Krish and Evan, soon they got up. Everyone was cleaning themselves or was just trying to stand properly. Sid crawled to Sumedh who was still unconscious or maybe sleeping. He shaked him violently which made him wake up with a jerk.

Sumedh:- I'm not dead?
Sid:- No. Not yet.

Sumedh glanced around him.

Sumedh:- Shit!
Sid:- I know.

Sumedh:- Is this a dream?
Sid:- Nope, its reality.
Btw....are you feeling ok? I mean are you hurt somewhere? "

Sumedh:- Yeah! I think I might get a heart attack.I feel like there's a hole in my heart bcoz of these terrible turn of events.

Sid stared at him for his weird answer with furrowed brows.

Sid:- Great! You're speaking nonsense, which means that you are normal.

He got up from there and made Sumedh stand. Ria came towards him with her hand placed on her right elbow. As soon as Sid saw her he ran towards her and asked if she was ok. Instead of saying anything Ria hugged him and started crying. Sid was taken aback by this surprise hug. He wanted to hug her back and cry his heart out; but he chose to remain quiet and patted Ria's back.

Ria:- Are you ok?
Sid:- Yeah. And please don't cry, everyone has to be strong now. Come on.

He grabbed her elbow and said that she  needs a bandage for it. But Ria smiled faintly at him.
Ria:- How could there be a bandage over here?
He said nothing.

While they were talking, the rest of group was staring at them. As soon as Ria and Sid turned back they saw these guys. Their staring made Ria and Sid feel awkward.

Sapna:- Let's go guys.

Sumedh:- Where?

Ria:- What do you mean by where? We have to go back.

Sumedh:- I know that. But to go back, we need a plan. This is not a garden that we know which way will take us back.
We're lost. In a jungle. And we have to be very careful.

Krish:- You're right. But where's Shanaya and Ananya?

Everyone started looking for them. The bushes behind them moved and revealed the twin sisters. Their expression was scared.

Krish:- Where were you both?

Sapna:- You guys were hiding?

Shanaya:- No, why would we hide from you guys?

Ananya:- We heard you guys talking.....so lets go.

Evan:- So what's our exit plan?

Sumedh:- Its simple. We just have to go back where the waterfall is. Then we'll climb up and then follow back the same way we came here.

Krish:- I don't think it will be that simple.

Sid:- Yes.... I.. I know. We're all injured in one way or another. It might take time but atleast we have to try.

Sapna:- He's right.

Ethan:- Lets go then.

Sumedh:- Wait. Where's Vedha?

Ria:- OH MY GOD!
